Man, I looooved me some Teddye Buchanan coming out of the draft.  DeCosta is an incredible drafter.  I think he’s the best I can remember- following in the footsteps of the previous best drafter, Ozzie.  Howie would probably have something to say about that.

Exactly. Definitely closer than it looked live but to me, the replay clearly showed it was directly lateral at worst and not backward

Its already developed.  The NFL just chooses not to use it.  The balls already have chips in them, they only use them for tracking.

Yes. If they can use Hawkeye to spot a tennis ball that's moving 135 MPH and compresses as it hits the ground to within a millimeter, they can use it to spot a football.
