You don't expect such a monstrous frame to be so nimble. He's light as a dancer. 6 hours ago, Simon said: I want Hoecht to be taking some of Epenesa's snaps the minute he's allowed to. GunnerBill Posted September 19 Posted September 19 As for Walker... I said he was like a young Jordan Phillips when we drafted him. That is what I see. He is a big body with a habit of getting penetration. 2 1 Quote
Pecker Posted September 19 Posted September 19 Walker is an absolute stud and it was evident in the first preseason game. does anyone have the clip from the first (or maybe second) dolphins series where I think Walker tackled the back AND lineman blocking him ? 3 1 Quote

WhitewalkerInPhilly Posted September 19 Posted September 19 I am very happy with Walker's progress. I wasn't able to keep track so the have him subbing for Oliver? Or is he taking snaps from Daquan? Quote

I'm not talking about an extension, but merely paying him closer to what he might be "due". They can't. It would still be defined as a renegotiation, which isn't allowed for drafted players until after their third season. The best he can do in the meantime is to earn a proven performance escalator, available to rookies drafted in rounds 2-7. 1 1 Quote

QCity Posted September 19 Posted September 19 Walker played 47% of snaps yesterday. He's earned more playing time than Sanders when Oliver comes back. Quote

He is a rookie, you don't have that discussion till year 3 or his 4 year contract and only if he continues to play at a higher level. Got to see if he can play consistently and stay healthy. Quote
