That swim forced a half-blind throw from a Tua in full retreat which Bernard was getting hands on regardless.

You don't expect such a monstrous frame to be so nimble. He's light as a dancer.

I want Hoecht to be taking some of Epenesa's snaps the minute he's allowed to.

Who is Epenesa? 😕

I think it’s in the epinephrine family.

He could take snaps from any of the edge guys not name Bosa. None of them has done anything of note so far.

Maybe more than defensively, Epenesa contributes on special teams.

Last night he played 15 of the 26 special teams snaps.

Walker is an absolute stud and it was evident in the first preseason game.

does anyone have the clip from the first (or maybe second) dolphins series where I think Walker tackled the back AND lineman blocking him ?

contributed a nice penalty in ST.   He seems to be regressing on D unfortunately.

If Walker - a 4th round pick - plays well above his pay grade the rest of the season, is there any incentive on the Bills' part to reward him financially next season? I'm not talking about an extension, but merely paying him closer to what he might be "due".

They can't. It would still be defined as a renegotiation, which isn't allowed for drafted players until after their third season.

The best he can do in the meantime is to earn a proven performance escalator, available to rookies drafted in rounds 2-7.

Tua was throwing up a lot of blind throws. His luck must have run out.

Epenesa's definitely hit his ceiling as a player.

He is who he is.

NO !  He is a rookie, you don't have that discussion till year 3 or his 4 year contract and only if he continues to play at a higher level. Got to see if he can play consistently and stay healthy.
