Josh could’ve avoided that sack and thrown it away. Tre getting juked, 3rd down meltdowns again. The FG was 15 yards wide, I don't think throwing it away would have made a difference. Allen probably thought he was making the conservative safe choice to just eat it and take the gimme 3 points.
Toledo Bill Posted September 19 Posted September 19 Let's spend all draft picks on defense , have a "defensive head coach" and look like crap. It is so depressing that our defense sucks. 1
Albanybillsbacker Posted September 19 Posted September 19 Here comes an 11 point win to just miss covering

Tre on the blitz, Bernard on the Hill catch, Epinessa and Sanders breaking rush lanes. 3rd down is a problem but guys were in spots to make plays and they didn’t A million times this Its the talent

You ahve the best player int eh world standing ont eh sideline for 30:00 a game because you'd rather keep everything iin front of you than risk attacking. So what if you give up a big play occasionally; if you don't have the balls to dictate out there, you'll be dictated to. And that's a travesty with Josh Allen sitting over there watching. I've been saying this for 5 years. Very well said. The defensive scheme doesn't match the QB. You will never see KC sitting back on defence 3
ChronicAndKnuckles Posted September 19 Posted September 19 I don’t know why people thought Miami would be some pushover. They looked pretty good against New England 2 1 1

Pass rush is not good, especially against a banged up Fins line. that was a bad decision to resign him... esp at that price

The coaching has ALWAYS been lacking on that side of the ball. We need a real DC. the play call on the first 3rd and long seemed perfect, White screwed it up. If white just stays in front of tua he probably throws it out of bounds and they punt. When they do not execute the play u cannot blame the coaches. I am perplexed as to why jones is in rushing the passer on 3rd and long. I just do not understand that at all. 1
KOKBILLS Posted September 19 Posted September 19 This Defense continues to show that on any given week, no matter the team they face or the quality of the Offensive line, their pass rush can just vanish. I have no idea what is going on with Groot this year but it's almost like he's not out there. Outside of Bosa and Oliver, who of course gets hurt after a great game, I don't see anyone stepping up and beating a freaking block. And then when it seems like we do get some pressure contain is broken and there goes the QB... I mean... When Tua is scrambling for a long 3rd down...This has to end... Right?
The Jokeman Posted September 19 Posted September 19 Just now, Gambit said: Yeah, that has nothing to do with having the best player in the NFL... I love Josh but sorry Mahomes better. Toss in Kelce and Chris Jones better than anyone on our defense. 2

The Dolphins made one stop at the line in the redzone on 2nd and 8 forced us into 3rd and 8 and we gave up a sack and missed what should be a gimme FG. Pound the F'ing ball = It works too easy. Our O-line is destroying them on designed run plays. Edited September 19 by Real McClappy
Jukester Posted September 19 Posted September 19 (edited) With this defense Brady needs to go full throttle and open it up. Goal should be 40 pts every game Edited September 19 by Jukester

billsbackto81 Posted September 19 Posted September 19 I understand this D is a work in progress, but it shouldn't be this hard to put away an under manned and discouraged Miami team
