McBean Posted 1 hour ago Posted 1 hour ago (edited) Anybody else catch that comment? I live in the south, and this resonates with me because college football is life down here. A great comment by Romo and it’s so true. Yesterday, it was like watching a cat play with a little mouse as a toy until the cat got hungry. Holy smokes if you are a Jets fan. I mean, we’ve been there through the drought but man, talk about pure domination. The stats with this team the past 5 years are unreal. 2nd best record in NFL, leads the league in least amount of turnovers, and others. I’m guilty. I have not appreciated this team enough and just want to make sure I don’t blink per se because this is a time we won’t ever forget. What a great era of Buffalo Bills football, and I truly hope we get at least ONE. Anything short of a Super Bowl through out this run would be an outright MAJOR disappointment. O, and btw…James COOK was worth every penny. Go Bills Edited 1 hour ago by McBean 10 Quote

Go Bills It was like the Bills were content to just keep running the ball to end the game and just get out of there with an easy win, almost like they were wasting their time playing this game since the outcome was already known from 5 minutes into the 1st quarter. 😂 Quote
PoundingDog Posted 1 hour ago Posted 1 hour ago I thought it was a sign of Josh's growth as a QB. Believe me it is not all rosy because the Jets Defense, particularly D line and some LBs did give us more trouble than the Ravens did, to the point I think Josh was not comfortable passing the ball for a long stretch of time. But Josh saw what every one of us saw, Fields is not a NFL caliber QB reading defense and passing the ball, and McDermott's wheel house is magnifying those QBs weakness to 500%; result, the Jets offense could do nothing. So Josh played smart, not pushing for anything that could give Jets offense a break or hope. Every time we put a 3 on the board, we squeezed the vise grip a bit more and they could not get out of it. A Josh Allen of the past might risk some throws trying to kill them early. The MVP Josh Allen is much smarter now. 1 2 Quote

We saw it last year a few times as well...Bills are basically giving Allen a break for a week and just bludgeoning the other team to death with the run. No need to put your franchise in harms way when you don't need to. Edited 1 hour ago by Big Turk Quote
Ridgewaycynic2013 Posted 1 hour ago Posted 1 hour ago (edited) Just a painful reminder that woefully overlooked Alabama graduate Robert 'HoF' Foster has been denied his WR glory in the NFL, most notably by the Buffalo Bills. 🤨 * (Well, if you believe some of the board's members. 😁😉) Edited 1 hour ago by Ridgewaycynic2013 Quote

I'm guessing the NFL will collect some of his pay check this week. Quote

Miyagi-Do Karate Posted 51 minutes ago Posted 51 minutes ago We used to be on the other end of those condescending comments by Nantz when we used to play Brady and the pats. And I would despise him because of it! Yesterday, I was yukking it up. Quote
Royale with Cheese Posted 46 minutes ago Posted 46 minutes ago Yesterday’s game overall was boring but not in a bad way. The Jets are just so uncompetitive that it takes the fun out of it. It is how I watch Alabama/MTSU or Ohio State vs Kent State or UGA vs The Jacksonville State. Im just watching and cleaning the kitchen, scrolling on my phone…. The Ravens game I held my pee because I didn’t want to miss a snap. Quote
dcinmuncie Posted 41 minutes ago Posted 41 minutes ago Bills won that game going away playing their C game on offense. blew them out and didn't even seem to be trying. incredible. Quote
SoCal Deek Posted 40 minutes ago Posted 40 minutes ago While Romo’s comment was spot on, I’d be interested to see if the league or network doesn’t have a word with him. He and Nantz together made that one of the worst broadcasts I’ve listened to in recent years. The announcers job is to keep eyeballs on screens…..not to make you question whether your time would be better spent cleaning the gutters. Quote
Utah John Posted 37 minutes ago Posted 37 minutes ago What this was, was a very good NFL team playing an inferior roster with an incredibly bad QB. The Jets do have some talent but they lost their MLB who always gave Josh fits, and far more important was their incredibly terrible QB. On the first Jets possession he had a wide open receiver for a 20 yard gain and a first down, and he overthrew him by at least five feet. Strawberry Fields kept making terrible decisions, or no decisions except to get sacked. The Bills beat a very strong Ravens team and they refused to let down against an inferior opponent. They play the guys on the other side of the field, and the beat them. I don't care about stats, I care about winning, comfortably like yesterday if possible. On to facing the Dolphins who gave it their all yesterday but lost anyway, which probably means they know their season is over. Play tough, Bills. 3 minutes ago, SoCal Deek said: While Romo’s comment was spot on, I’d be interested to see if the league or network doesn’t have a word with him. CBS has a contract to show games, and Romo and Nance (who's usually a lot better) have contracts to show up. Romo in particular makes a fortune whether he's broadcasting or not. Their problem yesterday was, it was a boring game except for us! 1 Quote

zow2 Posted 29 minutes ago Posted 29 minutes ago I think Nantz suggested MTSU. Tony kind of laughed and said something like "not that far" (of a gap).. as in, it's not Alabama vs MTSU it's prob Bama vs NC State or something along those lines. Romo went on to say he loves that level of football because that's the kind of league he was in. So he was not disparaging MTSU. Quote
