Okay, I know Lamar schooled him on a play or two.....but that happens to all defenders.

 

IMO, Bosa looked like he can still be an elite difference maker.  His jump off the snap was noticeable

He had 2-3 plays that are sacks against most other QB's.   

 

Also single handedly wrecked a Ravens drive by the Forced Fumble in backfield, then containing Lamar for no gain

Much better in the second half.  I was shocked how a vet like him gave up the edge in the first half.

Looked like he’d never seen a read option before in the first half. 
 

Looked like a top tier EDGE is still inside him later into the second half.

It's like the Ravens vets say about Josh.  Sometimes you tip your cap to the other guy.  Bosa and Co. knows what Lamar is likely going to do, and still can't contain him on several occasions. He's just a special QB.

Hes better than von tho. Hes more playable / more snaps. Hes the mold of what they want out of their ends. Collapse pocket / power / good against the run. 

 

Hes an above average starter i think right now.

Lamar would make Micah look silly too. 

Bosa looked like a true pass rusher.  Now get the PED guy and Jackson up to speed and send Epenesa and a box of chocolates to some team for a safety.

Disagree. If he’s healthy, he’s a very good starter imo.

Pleasantly surprised with his 2nd half. If he can maintain that and stay healthy then Beane needs to work on that extension.

He still has great technique and is gonna get a good share of pressures/sacks this year.   He looks slow once he gets into the open field and has to chase someone down however.

The additions we have made freed up Ed Oliver last night.

 

If Oliver can deliver what he did last night consistently, we have our Chris Jones per se, which is what we are desperately missing.

He made some mistakes early but it's game 1 against an opponent that is a nightmare to defend properly so it wasn't unexpected.

Overall I thought he looked very effective, probably the best we've seen across from Rousseau yet.

The only time I got mad at him was when he inadvertently cut Groot's legs on what was probably about to be an absolutely crucial sack.

Hoecht will have an impact after suspension,  the DT as well i just don't want to butcher his name

I saw Bosa look excellent on multiple plays. Limit his reps and save him for big moments and big games.

Hoecht probably will. Ogenjobi probably wont make the roster unless they want to cut ties with DQ.

Bosa looked great! Constant pressure all night. He's the real deal.

Bosa seems to have a noticeable jump, which is encouraging. But also appears slow in pursuit. That could be due to age, or he may never have been that quick after an initial burst. 

 

Disappointing it took time for Bosa to set the edge, but no doubt had several key plays in crunch time.

 

Curious how he plays versus the Jets and Dolphins.
