Man you guys are just hard.

Cramps are debilitating.  Have you guys ever been in anything physical and get a terrible cramp?  You barely can move, surely can't run which means you are completely worthless on the field.  You're putting the game on the line with that player?

I have had a ruptured disk in my back that required surgery and the pain of that was less than some cramps that wouldn't go away.

To me, that decision was a no brainer, cramping or no cramping.

I don't really get the 2nd guessing.  Yes, you have to respect Allen's ability to drive the Bills down w/ that amount of time left, but if you go for it & don't make it, you're just handing the game to the Bills.

Agreed.  All revisionist history.  Now Harbaugh is an idiot because he didnt go for it on fourth done, especailly since the "analytics" were to go for it on 4th down.

If they missed the 4th down, the Bills are almost already in field goal range. Way too big a risk IMO. They were too conservative on the plays BEFORE. Yet, as they were gashing the Bills with the run all night, it still made sense. Josh and the guys made them pay but it was the right coaching decision.

They showed the analytics.  If Ravens go for it on 4th down, Ravens had an 81% chance of winning.  If you punt, chance goes down to 73%.  Odds were still well in Ravens' favor one way or the other.

I mean, I understand Harbughm has a reputation of going for it on fourth down but I get why he punted. If they don't get it, the Bills would have taken over almost in field goal range. I know a lot of people (i.e. Ravens fans) disagree with the call but I think it was the right one.

What was it 3 yards to a first down? Our DL had been penetrating (Thats what she said) really well for the last couple of drives. No guarantee they get it. AND then you give Allen a short field.  They have a great D, they thought they could stop him... They couldn't even contain him 🙂

if this was any other QB the headlines would be published he pulled himself. but it's lamar jackson, the real mvp... so nothing.

i hope this makes noise and gets out there. when the game is on the line in what will likely be a major playoff implication game for home seeding and you say you're cramping in game 1 in 60 degree weather you aren't mentally tough enough to be called an mvp.

jackson is such a mental midget pansy.

Yeah, he negotiated his own$260m contract, saved about $8m by not having an agent, what an idiot.

Yea if true that he pulled himself on 4th down against a rival to close the game…. Should receive a lot of attention

It should be if he was healthy or in just a little bit of pain.  If he got wrecked and was in a lot of pain, which was certainly possible after watching Ed crumple his bones, then maybe going for it didn’t seem like the best idea due to the likely play call would be for Lamar to run.

Lamar got absolutely destroyed by Ed Oliver on the 3rd down pass. He was in no condition to run that 4th down play because he needed a couple minutes to recover. I think they go for it if Lamar had his full faculties about him and his limbs were moving correctly. Big Ed wiped him the F out. Love to see it.

After that hit I think Lamar’s sphincter was cramping from making sure he didn’t 💩 himself on the field on impact.

We won't ever know how much he saved or didn't.

Ravens fans have to be asking the same exact questions about Harbaugh/Jackson Bills fans have been asking about McDermott/Allen. Is a generational talent being wasted ? Their coach has a pretty consistent habit of choking away pretty big games. Joe Flacco was 13 years ago. Harbaugh can’t coast off that ring forever. He inherited a lot of those great Ravens defenders.

Per the Washington Post, agents will receive between 1.5 percent and up to 3 percent, which is the maximum for contracts.

For Jackson, that means he could have lost up to $7.8 million to an agent, if he were to lose 3 percent of the full $260 million. He also could have lost a minimum of $2,775,000, had he lost 1.5 percent of the $185 million.

Agent could have got more money is my point, or better language to assure other aspects, guarantees, etc

They paid a lawyer to do that, the lawyer gets paid a fee, not a percentage of the contract. A contract attorney would have access to other players contracts.

Yup. Can't do anything with it. It will drop even the toughest men to the ground in an instant.

And, we know an agent could not have negotiated a better deal for him?

Have you ever got a cramp doing the horizontal mambo?  I will literally yell at her to not move, I need to roll over very gingerly.  And Im so nervous the whole time I do something to work it worse because one bad move will, oh my god.

This is how bad a true cramp is.  I have been there before.

4th&3. You punt. Which is wild because given that you’re playing the Bills, they give up short yardage game-on-the-line first downs like candy vs KC. If they lined up, it would’ve been my lowest point of the night because I know they’re getting it. But the correct thing to do is punt. A tipped Coleman TD on 4th&2 is something that shouldn’t have happened.
