I've never known a team or competitor in ANY sport with quite as much personality as this current Bills outfit.

Now, that may be a problem. Aside from McEnroe and Ali  - it's not usually the big personalities that win things. It's usually the dull, mechanical sorts. Those who do the basics right. Those who wear you down and even bore you into making mistakes. The machines.

But even though  the Lombardi is really the be-all and end-all of the game - what a ride we're on. Our games are FULL of events. Every week is a thrill. It's like even we lose (13 seconds) it's the most dramatic thing imaginable.

We are Hollywood. No doubt about that.

More like Bollywood. Just over the top ridiculous action, explosions, and dramatics.

It's not in the past tense, either. It's still the narrative over there...

"Allen has a defense that makes plays. So Allen actually has help from his Defense"

My brother in Christ, the Ravens were up 40-25. What "help" did the Bills defense give?

Yea I think from just a ravens fan perspective it might seem like we force a lot of opportunistic turnovers when we play them but they must not be watching when the chiefs absolutely light us up in the playoffs haha

mcd has actually turned in some pretty solid gameplans against them in the past…not that this was one of them lol

251 passing yards in the 4th quarter is nutty.

They were? I’ll have to give the game a watch and listen to that. You can understand though given Lamar’s stats for last season and, unless I’m mistaken, the same people vote for the All-Pro as well as the end of season awards. Don’t think I’ve seen a unanimous first team AP not get MVP if they’re a QB before.

Ravens have a top to bottom better roster than Buffalo. Shows how great Josh is. You give him that team and I don’t think Baltimore are sniffing a 40 point game.

That to me is the true test of an MVP. Remove said player and what is the team doing?

For the QB position they’re all absolutely essential to their teams success but I’d argue for right now in the league, Josh and Joe Burrow add more wins to their programs.

Thankfully the former is on the good guys side…

That is it though.

Lemur has 10 all pros on his team.

Josh has?

How can you be MVP when your team is stacked? You are just 1 very good player out of many at that point.

Josh does it with players not being recognized and coaches not being recognized.

And people questioned why he was the MVP!!!

I hate all the mvp talk….i have opinions on it but I find it hard to care as much as seemingly everyone else.   Give me 1 sb and Lamar can have all the mvps while choking in the playoffs.

Has there ever been a luckier HC than Sean McDermott? Allen constantly bailing out his D.

Sean is the only head coach in NFL history to have an MVP QB with 3+ playoff wins (JA has 7) to NOT make the Super Bowl.

He's unbelievable and honestly I thought even before the 4th quarter he was playing better than Lamar but was hamstrung by playcalling.

First half 41 percent of passes were behind the LOS…😬

Guys, the record of 250 yards in a single quarter isn't the entirety of the record... he also added 2 rushing TDS (and a passing TD). That's never been down (and likely won't be for a long, long, long time).

250 passing yards and 2 rushing TDs in one quarter. Let that sink in. No more discussions, Josh is first-ballot HOF right now.

Ravens were flying all over the field on defense and definitely gassed out down the stretch…that probably should’ve been a more classic shootout than a crazy late comeback haha

Classic Rope-A-Dope!     (or ... does that just show how old I am?!)

To be fair - he's had an MVP QB for 1 game ... shouldn't we at least give him till February for this to be a criticism?

This is a bizarre stat.  Do you mean over 3? Lamar has 3 playoff wins and would have even more if he didn’t miss two whole playoff run opportunities due to injury and he’s won 2 mvps

then you’ve got guys like Rodgers who has won 4  mvps and went to only 1 Super Bowl in 20 years so it’s really kinda a cherry picked stat especially with it applying to just qbs (had to exclude LT somehow to make your point I guess lol.)

It’s a dumb stat…there’s quite a few mvp winners that went to 1 Super Bowl their entire career and Josh has awhile to go

Finally watched the game last night (missed it live since I was at the Goos concert in LA) and what struck me was how easy and almost boring that 4th quarter performance from Josh looked. Just pitch and catch with your buddies in the back yard. He's so good at this point I almost take plays like that throw to Palmer for granted.

So well said!

I've lived through that 17-year drought with bad head coaches and GMs. So, when Bills fans start talking stuff about firing this GM and or HC, it gets to me! :censored:

This is arguably the best head coach and GM this NFL franchise has ever had, and some fans simply don't have the patience to see it through. Josh Allen wasn't this great his first few seasons, and he gets better every year.  They will get to an SB or more and win one.

These HC & GM were rookies when hired in Buffalo, and not to mention that they didn't inherit a HoF pass rusher and QB like Marv Levy, Bill Polian happened to do. Nor have they drafted early in the draft because of fielding a bad team. Josh Allen didn't fall to them, as this GM knew what he needed and traded up to the #7 spot to get him. No question if they redid that 2018 NFL draft today, so many clubs would be vying to get a hold of Allen...most, if not every club?

It really is remarkable what this GM and HC have built in Buffalo. Joey Bose stated that after that Sun night win against the Ravens, he has never been as happy after a win, a ten-year vet. After the game in the locker room, he went around and shook the hands of all the offensive players because he stated he knew the defense was carried in that game.
