Simon Posted 4 hours ago Posted 4 hours ago I know it's fun to bust on the Jest, but I'm spooked by this guy. I had a ton of respect for his guts and guile as a player and I think he's the kind of cat that become a very good head coach, possibly good enough to turn that mess around. He also swiped an offensive coach from the Lions that could end up being successful in this league if they find him a good QB. Bookmark this and laugh me out of here if it doesn't work out down the road, but I think he's going to become a problem over the next couple years. 2 3 1 Quote
The Firebaugh Kid Posted 4 hours ago Posted 4 hours ago They ran the ball very very well today. That’s a concern especially if Henry goes off tonight. Almost 200 yards if I’m not mistaken 1 Quote

You mean for football games...or should I be keeping an eye for him in my neighborhood? Respond ASAP, I'm freaking out! 1 7 Quote
SydneyBillsFan Posted 4 hours ago Posted 4 hours ago Having watched the game I have no doubt that they are going to be extremely hard to beat next week. Fields looked very composed. Breece Hall was almost unstoppable. Quote

Yes he was a great player but that does not make him a great coach. He is a defensive coach and I dont think he is good at that, the Bills put up like 48 last year on them. The Steelers had 4 TD passes from Rodgers.....I dont doubt the team is excited to start anew but give it time, the Jets will be the Jets in the end. I do think Fields has a chance to be good. Weird how the Steelers and Jets can swap QBs and somehow its an upgrade for both teams. 1 6 1 Quote

I agree with that and have been banging that drum for decades. But there's a certain kind of player with the right combination of smarts, guts, leadership and savvy that tends to be a natural when he puts a headset on and I think Glenn has that rare skillset. And I'm not talking about him being a co-ordinator, I mean as a head coach. A role where he has to be smart enough to find the right kind of people to surround himself with, then be the kind of leader that can get everybody to buy in 100% and be pulling in the same direction. He just feels like a natural to me. 1 Quote
NewBillsFan86 Posted 3 hours ago Posted 3 hours ago Somehow he found consistency with Justin fields at qb. Thats impressive in and of itself. 1 Quote

I hope they win 6 games a year off his guts and guile and can never get the right qb. Quote
BigAl2526 Posted 3 hours ago Posted 3 hours ago I don't disagree, but Aaron Glenn is trying to mimic Detroit, and Buffalo dealt with Detroit pretty well las season. Quote

He was 4-2 I get that, but if you watch the game today, he was decisive with his throws and runs. He was still relatively uncomfortable with the Steelers. So far, he looks more than just a RB with an arm (what some media pundits were saying). Quote

Big Turk Posted 3 hours ago Posted 3 hours ago (edited) They will have 6 wins max this year. Maybe in 3 years once they get an actual QB I'll be wary. As usual, people pay way tooich attention to what happens in week 1. Edited 3 hours ago by Big Turk Quote
