transplantbillsfan Posted Monday at 07:33 AM Posted Monday at 07:33 AM That might have been the most exciting Bills game I've ever watched that we actually won. AWESOME!!! 4 Quote

It’s got to be painful for those who were at the game, left early, and then miss out on that comeback win. I wonder how many who left will admit they left. 3 Quote

Clearly wasn’t a great call but I really don’t think they would’ve overturned the call on the field. It would’ve gotten bogged down in the whole ‘how do you define the start of a slide’ type stuff and I think they would’ve just left the call unchanged we also did something probably even more difficult than 13 seconds against them before halftime because of good timeout management/preparation but it’s getting lost in all the craziness haha Heres the thing, and I looked this up because the ex ref on the show said this... It's not as soon as the slide begins. It's when they start a slide to declare down and anything besides hands or feet first touch the ground. I believe it was Josh's knee that first touched the ground and the ball was obviously past the mark by then. Plenty of video to see that. Rule from the actual book copy/paste... sliding or diving. When a runner slides or dives feet or head first or simulates sliding or diving, the ball is dead the instant he touches the ground with anything other than his hands or his feet, or begins to simulate touching the ground; 2 Quote

I wonder how many who left will admit they left. Just about the entire bills fan population was there for the comeback game during our SB years if that is any indication. From this camera angle, you can definitely see Coleman was shoved out. The 2 pointer should have counted. @Einstein asked earlier what does he have to do to re-establish himself. Not sure if you know the answer or not, but it's simply getting 2 feet back in bounds. Although, I am hearing from others that you can't re-establish at all if you are forced out the back of the endzone. The rulebook says "legally" forced out. Whats legally? Is it not illegal contact anyway you look at this? Edited Monday at 09:41 AM by Scott7975 1 3 1 Quote

Sargent Hulka Posted Monday at 09:34 AM Posted Monday at 09:34 AM Just watching the highlights, number 42 for Buffalo is useless, he was easily taken out on most of Henry's big runs. That defense is in trouble! 1 Quote

That defense is in trouble! Maybe, but we don't play many teams like the Ravens this season. I'm not going to take any stock into a week 1 football game against arguably our worst matchup in the league. 2 Quote
Bad Things Posted Monday at 09:49 AM Posted Monday at 09:49 AM Holy cow. I just finished watching the game. One of the strangest wins I've ever seen. The perfect type of game to be our foundation for s championship season. Let's go Buffalo! 2 Quote

Legitimately. It was bonkers enough as is. I have never been in a stadium that loud at about 30% capacity! I walked to the concourse and back down 3 times. What a bananas ending. 1 hour ago, Iverwig said: It’s got to be painful for those who were at the game, left early, and then miss out on that comeback win. Donuts and Doritos Posted Monday at 10:27 AM Posted Monday at 10:27 AM "“Our team didn’t quit,” Allen said, his voice almost hoarse after rallying the Bills from a 15-point deficit in the final four minutes to a thrilling season-opening 41-40 win over the Baltimore Ravens. “I think there’s people who left the stadium. That’s OK. We’ll be fine. But have some faith next time.”" Josh Allen rallies Bills for 16 points in last four minutes to stun Ravens | AP News https://share.google/IhTe9PIS8fM4R6w qa Quote
