I just don't undestand why they didn't say that adverts would happen four or five weeks ago when the transaction happen and they seem to have only informed the audience during an interview a day before the new season kicks off where Hanson is saying "don't shoot the messenger".

I understand why they didn't say anything

Greed. Either they didn't want to disclose or they then decided to take extra ad money after the fact

Everybody has to pee sometime ??

Scott Hanson is quite proud of the fact he never takes a pee break during those 7 hours. He even discussed his routine in an interview and how he pulls it off.

Goodell is a shill. He wasn't gonna throw ESPN under the bus after they over paid for this media

So true.  Cut the cord my ass. I get the most value with my spectrum cable and Internet plan, I get HBo, Disney, peacock apps all free, I think there are other apps I can now access as well as part of my spectrum package

Paramount + and ESPN

Burger King has got to be loving all these funny Redzone clips with commercials. They're like..."Keep the humor going."

the double box commercial stuff just sucks.  MLB has this all over their broadcasts.  NFL has it already too so I gues its not that much of a change but these greedy people have to pave every blade of grass to put up another shopping plaza if you will no matter what.

The Greed knows no end.  They will never have enough.

Last year was the first time I made the active choice to ignore watching the NFL the "right" way because of their sprawl. Games every night of the week on 15 different streaming services was too much. The NFL is doing everything it can to kill the Golden Goose and they are lucky it is one tough bird.

I can't speak for others but my NFL related spending has dropped the last two years at a time when the Bills are having a great run. When this run ends, who knows what it will be.
