Process Posted September 2 Posted September 2 I like the Giants pick. I have Washington missing the playoffs this year. And that Giants D line is nasty. Quote

The only reason I think the Saints have a chance in this one is because the game is in New Orleans and it's only 6.5 point spread. I just got a feeling about it. I could be wrong, though Edited September 2 by Buffalo03 1 Quote

Gregg Posted September 2 Posted September 2 I don't expect Wilson to recapture his Seahawk days but if he gives the Giants decent QB play, then they will win more games than expected. That defense is no joke. Quote

Because I read somewhere here there's a pretty convincing prediction that Eagles aren't making the playoffs and Dallas is winning the division. I'm actually surprised this is the biggest spread of the week. I expect the Eagles to win but didn't expect a 8.5 point spread 2 Quote

PromoTheRobot Posted September 2 Posted September 2 Patriots over Raiders. It's not really an upset but, my god, they will act like it is up here in New England. Especially the getting-back-at-Tom-Brady angle. I'll have to listen to a week of "Pats are in the Super Bowl hunt" jabber. Quote
gonzo1105 Posted September 2 Posted September 2 Give me the Bears over the Vikings. I think the Vikings were a very fortunate football team last year. Probably will look like a fool but i'll take the Bears. 2 2 Quote
Buffalo4Life01 Posted September 2 Posted September 2 According to 75% of the members on this board, this is a HUGE upset pick. Sunday night. Buffalo 27, Ravens 23!! 1 Quote
Mister Defense Posted September 2 Posted September 2 Chargers over the Chiefs in LA. A team on the rise versus a team on the decline, we hope. Browns over the Bengals in Cleveland. All off season we have heard about how magnificent the Bengals' offense is. The Browns' defense takes over the game in some key moments. And maybe the Saints over the Cardinals in the Super Dome. I realize the first two are likely wishful thinking. Quote
Talley56 Posted September 2 Posted September 2 In recent years, the Bengals have struggled in week 1 and they've struggled playing in Cleveland. I'm taking the Browns in the upset. Quote

Even though its being called a Chargers "home" game the game is being played in Brazil on Friday Sept 5th. It's probably not a bad thing as the Chargers don't have a homefield advantage at all in LA. 2 minutes ago, Miyagi-Do Karate said: jets are going to be tough this year. The risk of going 0-2 would cause this board to have a complete meltdown if that were to happen. 1 Quote

I wouldn't consider Buccs at Falcons, Raiders at Patriots, Panthers at Jaguars, 49ers at Seahawks, Lions at Packers, Texans at Rams or Ravens at Bills as upset games. However, Saints over Cardinals, Cowboys over Eagles, Chargers over Chiefs, Giants over Commanders, Browns over Bengals, Jets over Steelers and Titans over Broncos are all possible upset outcomes Edited September 2 by Buffalo03 Quote
