This is 100% an opportunity for Beane and McD to have knowledge of the available kickers if they to sign one.

I'd guess they want a Kicker on the PS with Bass nursing a Pelvis injury and his inconsistency the last couple of years.

 

 Maybe Bass re-injured himself while shanking that 24 yarder against the Bucs.

I think Bass is about done and we need to seriously look into a kicker that can help us win games.

I honestly dont know if he is or isnt, in fact I am struggling to remember exactly what his issue was it was really just trying to get a little chuckle out of folks..

Addressing what is the question. We really have no idea. Bass was out there for the 3rd pre-season game. Maybe he just tweaked something yesterday? Myabe they are just doing due diligence on some kickers. It's not clear.

Hmm - any news on Bass today? Or, I guess we will hear more this week. Ugh...

I tried to say I wished they had kept Caden Davis on the practice squad because Bass's health seems shaky (and because he still hasn't proven that he's fully past his yips). This way, Davis could keep practicing with our special teams unit and keep getting coached up.

I was told I was silly and it was a waste of a practice squad spot. But here we are, working out kickers a week before the season kicks off.

I like this idea. Be aggressive. Just have someone for kickoffs.

Never missed a game due to it.    If you're going to base getting rid of players who are too injured to practice one player that's missed more practices than Bass over the years is Josh Allen so we better look for a new QB.  Recall when he hurt his elbow or shoulder a couple years back, he hardly practiced for close to a month.
