It's worth mentioning 100 times, and then 100 more times:

Preseason has no historical significance to forecasting how week 1 will go since 2018.

Week 1 is the biggest wildcard week in the NFL. The results are just plain unpredictable.

Last year in week 1, the Ravens lost at home to the Raiders.

It is likely that Isaiah Likely is going to be out for the Ravens. That’s big for the Bills as well. Especially since the Bills will likely be down some secondary people

Would that make him, Isaiah Unlikely?

Driving home from visiting family in Maryland. My cousins are pretty confident. They say Henry is looking good to start the season. May be down another CB after this game.

They played @KC Week 1 and put up a good fight. Lamar had 400 yards.

That's literally the question mark.

It is? He’s been practicing fully for weeks.

I understand he's been practicing but his durability has been the biggest issue throughout his career. You really want to argue otherwise?

I've said this in other threads since the schedule was announced and I will say it again here.  Week 1 is just an unpredictable wild card and no matter what happens in the game, it is not going to affect my outlook on the season at all (well, outside of any injuries that may happen).  Win by 40, lose by 40.....won't matter much in the end because these teams are likely on a collision course one way or another come January and both teams will be a lot different by then.

If I had a lean, I think I would have it on the Ravens only because, for whatever reason, sometimes it takes us a while to get going in Week 1. I mean we win our share of games in Week 1, but sometimes it is a struggle, even against worse teams.  Even last year we played a terrible first half before finally turning things up late against the Cardinals.  We won't probably have that luxury of a slow start against the Ravens because their defense is so good.  So, unless we come out cooking and keep the game within striking distance, I don't feel great about the game, especially with the questions we have in the secondary right now.

All that said, though, win, lose, blowout, etc.......I don't think it is going to set back either team drastically in the long run.  Obviously a loss hurts us in the race for home field, but we have 16 more to play catch up if needed.

No, but when healthy, he's extremely good.  His season-long health is a question mark, but his in-game impact for Week 1 shouldn't be in doubt here.

Ahh yes, you’re right. I was thinking of week 2…

Nope. They could have and should have beaten the Chiefs in Arrowhead.

Even if the Bills lose i will try to keep from panicking.  At worst they would start the season 5-2 or maybe even 6-1.

A win or loss might not mean much for the team’s overall prospects, but it could very well be the difference between playing the AFCCG in Baltimore or playing it at Highmark…hardly insignificant

Never said it was insignificant.  Even said it would be a setback in the race for home field.  Of course we don't want to lose it, but if there is any positive to take out of a loss is that it is just Week 1 and there is the entire rest of the season to try and get that win back.  Of course it isn't insignificant.

This is a thread about the opening week game against the Ravens and Joey Bosa is fully healthy. Why is he a question mark for this game?

Our secondary is very suspect and Bosa is still a question mark, although he's looked strong thus far.

Would you rather be rolling with Fred Smoot?  Its Joey Bosa, playing on the Bills.  Enjoy and be happy!
