Man, are you sure some of y'all are actually fans of this team?

 

It's one thing to discuss things that make the matchup tough and reasons why we could lose, but acting as though we're a drought-era team that can't hang with the mighty Ravens and not one of the best teams in football year after year is WILD.

Going to be tough. Ravens have talked openly about how they want payback. I mean this is a pretty big game already, if we want the #1 seed finally, it will be even harder to do that if we don’t win this one

Beane spent all offseason trying to improve the defense. Now that the games count I would kickoff and let the defense get out there first and show what they can do. Great test against a good offense with a great QB and RB. I also prefer the Bills to start with the ball in the 2nd half anyway.

Ravens posted white jerseys for this one. Bills haven't released their uniform combo but it's probably blue over white.

Stadium is always quiet to start the 2nd half, kick the ball to start the game and know that the noise will be insane for the first series of the new season.  Ravens will struggle.  Don't want the Ravens getting the ball to start the 2nd half when it's super quiet.

I expect the Bills to lose this game. It just feels like a loss to me. They have been too banged up in the preseason and have a lot of new parts on defense anyway that will take time to mesh. If we win it will be because Josh Allen wills us to victory and/or Lamar turns it over a couple of times like he tends to do against us.

Defer if we win coin toss - Everyone will be very amped up and I think I'd rather start on defense given that.  And I think in general, it's generally best to defer.

They are professionals and I expect them To be  prepared for sure, but if they are too consumed with revenge then they may be entering the game with the wrong motivation. Hot heads and emotions lead to mistakes and miscues. We shall see.

I always want the potential of that extra offensive possession in the second half.

The Ravens kinda dominated them in the playoff game and lost due to turnovers and an unbelievable drop, and they slaughtered them in the regular season. I certainly think the Bills can win, but if I had to pick a winner straight up, I feel like I’d be foolish not to lean toward Baltimore. Home field will help.

Ravens didn’t “lose because of the drop.” It would’ve tied it up. Buffalo still had a whole heap of time left to march down for the FG. And that is not out of the realm of possibility for MVP Josh Allen.

The opportunity to double dip for a possible 14 point swing (especially if you have a rough first half ) is too great. All these resources dumped into the defense, you almost have to defer.

I feel bad for the Ravens because this is a game they really need to have…but Orchard Park in a night atmosphere, for the home opener…it’s just hard to picture the Ravens winning this particular game.

I think this is the toughest and most important game on the schedule.  Chiefs and Eagles come later but I think the Ravens are the best team in the AFC even above the Chiefs.  If the Bills get this one they could have a historic start to the season.
