371 given up at half. Can only hope they double it so we do something after this. Horrible

After watching Hamlin, Beane needs to be looking at available free agents.  If Hamlin is starting week 1, that's a problem.

Who is available?  My guess is a street free agent at this point isnt going to be any better than a guy who has started 27 games in this scheme.

As bad as this game is, it does not represent what the regular season will look like. Most of the guys playing for the Bills today will hardly see any meaningful snaps, outside of special teams.

Palmer, Moore, Shavers, Hamlin, Bishop, Sanders, D. Williams, Hoecht are the only guys I can see getting snaps in the regular season. Assuming they all make the team.

We didnt play our starting OL or DL, and we all know the game is won in the trenches. Also, JA didnt play. You know, the MVP, who all these new WR have been working on catching balls from in the off season, not Mike White.

The only thing that upsets me in the slightest bit is fundamentals and toughness. The backups/3rd stringers are not doing themselves any favors on earning a roster spot. Hats off to the Bears, their whole team came to play.

Had any of you cry babies considered that the Bills don’t care at all about this game?? lol,

Well some of these fringe players need to. Especially guys like Nameless Backup TE No. 5

- Hamlin somehow got even slower. He might get cut.

- Was hoping for more from E. Moore.

- Idk who that punter is, but he did great.
- Shavers might make some noise this year in spot duty. Good competition to keep Coleman from getting complacent.

Hamlin did horrible in 1st half. Burned and missed tackle from bad angle. When have we heard bad angles before? Time to move on. We've seen his ceiling.

These games are beyond meaningless, but I’m simply feeling thankful for Josh Allen right now, as usual. Poor fundamentals, questionable draft choices, yet none of it matters when Allen is on the field.

Imagine Josh Allen on a team with good coaching and a GM that did not make “questionable” draft choices.

So Bishop is a huge worry and by all accounts looked bad… but cut Hamlin tomorrow?   LOL   Makes totally sense.

He wasn't in long enough to look bad.  IMP the TD pass was on Andressan as he didn't drop into coverage leaving the inside move wide open to the Chicago WR.  Not sure very many safeties could have stuck with him on that play.  Bishop had two decent tackles once jumping a short pass.  Given that it was the Bears 1st team O running a regular season scripted opening drive offense against the Bills 2nd & 3rd string D playing pure vanilla coverage I can't see that we learned much about Bishop's play in that one series.
