If the Chiefs get to the Super Bowl this year, it would be their 4th straight. That is a record we still currently hold and would I love to keep that way. Let's hope all of the Chiefs division opponents can get their heads out of their a**es and help us out and give them a few extra losses. I think home field throughout for us helps a great deal. Either way, we gotta take them down. Go Bills

KC looks loaded again this year but their division looks to be more formidable with the Broncos looking like a legit tough out and the Chargers are well coached with solid talent. The Raiders this year should be less of a mess too. I think KC got a good pick in Simmons which should help their offensive line and they are getting Rice back when his presumed suspension is done. But I think it would be almost poetic that the Bills knock KC out of the playoffs and keep them from winning 4 straight AFC titles.

Yeah, I’m not being negative about our chances, but KC is going to be more competitive than many assume. There seems to be this hope they’ll fall apart this year. I don’t see it happening.

I do think KC will be as lucky in one score games and I do think that there is also some concern about their defense and wear and tear from making 3 Super Bowl runs. But I think their defense had 3 picks added to it in the first 3 rounds and Simmons along the offensive line could make an impact. I think KC is always formidable I think they win at a minimum 12 games and take a top 3 seed. Their defense if they don't get a big impact from 2-3 of their rookies could see some regression but their offense with the addition of Simmons possibly giving them a good or at least capable LT, Rice being back, Worthy in year 2 could be more of a weapon if healthy, Kelce is still there and could still produce, and there's a lot of veteran options at WR with Brown and Ju Ju neither scaring me all that much but each could have a game or two being highly productive.

KC is still the team to beat in the AFC but I am hoping the Bills offense picks up right where it left off and the defense with the draft and free agency additions take a step up.

Who cares about the record? It will mean nothing when the bills finally win one. Who wants to hold that record anyways when you’ve never won one

I disagree.  Sure it's bittersweet but it's a unique piece of NFL folklore and certainly of Buffalo Bills history.  It's very cool when we are the only franchise in NFL history that can claim four straight Super Bowl appearances.  Until we go all the the way that 4 year period will always be looked at as the best era of Buffalo Bills football.

The problem is if the Chiefs match the feat with having Super Bowl wins along with it, then yeah this becomes pretty much obsolete for the Bills.  Best case scenario Bills knock the Chiefs out of the AFC and go on to win one of own this season!

In a winner take all , loser go home game, Reid/Spags/Jones/Kelce send the Bills home far more than not.   Bills have a balanced, solid roster but in a single game scenario you need game wreckers, Bills don't have any of those neither players nor coaches.   I see another 14-15 win season and another tournament exit.  The key to being a Bills fan is to just enjoy what we have week to week and moment to moment.   Tournament wins are nice, but the media has created a impression that the tournament is all that matters.   Not sure that is very healthy.  I run into Bills fans all the time who now couldn't care less about the season pre-January.  Not sure that is a good thing.

I read in another thread that because of the 2020 Ravens and 2014 Broncos that the Chiefs weren’t even going to make the playoffs.

The only reason I would care about the "4 straight" record is that it would mean KC got past buffalo again in the playoffs.  Otherwise, clinging to 4 straight SB loses is some maximum strength Bills fan stuff.

KC was 15-2 last year and had an expected W-L of 10-7. That is a huge gap and to the eye test it appeared they were overachieving. I predict they will lose many more close games this year.  You can't sustain what happened last season.

I don't think they're the juggernaut they've been in past seasons. They were on the end of some extremely fortunate situations last season and played a buncha slack teams until the Bills slapped them around later on the year. Why oh why couldn't that have happened in January?! I'm still sad, man. I'm still kickin' rocks.

Either our heavy investments in defense are able to stop KC in the 4th quarter or they are not.  When the chips are down, they have not been able to, which ultimately is an endictment on the regime from GM to coaching to players.  Someone said something about game wreckers and that’s absolutely right.  Von was supposed to be that guy, I don’t know that we have one now.  Bosa?  Maybe, if he can stay healthy.  Otherwise we’ve got a few B+ guys but someone’s got to make a play.
