Maine-iac Posted August 9 Posted August 9 Pretty sure Dane was directly responsible for 2 huge plays. One a TD and another missed tackle for a huge gain. 3 Quote

Bosa Walker Sanders Shavers Also through Trubisky was really solid out there showing his mobility and willingness to push the ball down the field Hoecht had a very nice pass breakup too. He needs to be more consistent, but the talent is there Quote

They'll get better and offer more raw physical ability. Dane is too small and too slow and time in the system doesn't matter if he still can't cover or tackle. 1 Quote

Preseason is whatever, but it was plain to see that Hamlin & Lewis just have such a low ceiling out there. CB2 when left on an island was abused, whether it was Tre or Dane. I get why they’d keep Hamlin, but Lewis and Dane should be displaced by Hancock and Strong. Edited August 9 by SCBills 3 Quote
eee1776 Posted August 9 Posted August 9 Getting off the field on third down still a problem. Letting a rookie look like an all pro does not set well for my confidence in Babish. Offense looked better when they opened up the playbook. Quote
boyst Posted August 9 Posted August 9 I just realized this is the last pre season game in rich stadium 2 Quote

I didn't see anything bad from Hamlin or Lewis but that's not to say they don't have low ceilings. I just didn't see them get abused in this game. Quote

At least 4 times in the 1st quarter. He also missed a tackle on their first drive - I think it was 3rd and long. No need to panic - but the Giants WRs out here today are terrible. 1 Quote
