Training Camp 8/1 - Return of the Blue and Red

Where's this @Roundybout comin from with all the Keon hate?  Kid's still super young and has been reportedly one of the strongest players all Camp.  As someone just mentioned, Knox was Mr. Dropsy for his first couple years and now is one of our most sure-handed weapons.

 

Give the kid some time and lower your standards from All-Pro or even Pro Bowl WR in year 2.

No hate, just skepticism. I didn’t like the pick at all last season. I think he’s still very limited as a receiver. I’m much more excited about Moore.

There was also quite a few that wanted to trade Shakir, and now he's a critical part of the offense. People need to relax

Yeah but you’re bashing him for mistakes, but ignoring when he makes a play…seems like hate to me

You're definitely discounting the good plays and using the mistakes to confirm your original judgment.

I wasn't keen on the pick, but the fella has supposedly put in a lot of work in the off-season, and flashed in camp. I'm going to lean towards hopeful. It's good for us, and the more generous view to take.

Sorry for not being able to post as many updates. Allen got a rest day which is a hilarious troll job for the hundreds of fans that showed up.

So yes he needs to stop dropping passes that hit his hands, but hey at least he's getting open enough to earn those targets and he's making the tougher contested catches more regularly. Cleaning up focus drops is easy. If that's the worst thing we can say about his performance right now that is honestly a big positive.
