MPL Posted August 6 Posted August 6 Let's be honest right now: if we brought scary Terry in, he would pull a hamstring within a week. 4 2 Quote
DrDawkinstein Posted August 20 Posted August 20 Not looking good for this deal in Washington. The team has gone to the tactic of leaking info to reporters to try to make McLaurin look bad/greedy. IMO, it's on the team to get this done. Here's the team using Russini as a mouthpiece (if you believe the old GM's wife, it isnt the first time!) https://www.nytimes.com/athletic/6563035/2025/08/20/commanders-terry-mclaurin-contract-holdout-nfl-news/ 1 1 Quote

I just went down a google rabbit hole...apparently the wife of the then-GM of the then-Redskins tweeted at Russini accusing her of some "stuff" involving her husband (GM) and how she got her news about the team. 1 1 Quote

So it's likely McCloughan did have a side chick. But it doesnt seem like it was Russini and she just got caught up in some drunk wife anger. 1 Quote

No telling what kind of special drama caused the dam to burst. That would not be a fun way to live life. Quote

billsfan89 Posted August 20 Posted August 20 I think McBeane would easily give up a 1st plus some other stuff to make the trade happen if it wasn't for Scary Terry looking for a new contract. The Bills just don't really have the ability to stack on a 30 million dollar contract longer term it's just not sensible for them to do. 1 Quote

Trade the picks, eat the salary, ask for Scary Terry + however many low end picks, as we gave up in high end picks. 1st for Terry + 5th/6th 2nd & 3rd (maybe stagger the years) for Terry 6th + 7th The answer is win it all, and draft better going forward! Josh has proven to get the job done. If you’re trading a first round pick for something to add on this team, CB/Safety/DE would be a better jettison of future resources. At least to me. 1 Quote
Ed_Formerly_of_Roch Posted August 21 Posted August 21 Personally if it were up to me, I'd go after Hendrickson before McLaurin, but likely cost more too. But also think Bengals and Mike Brown are more likely to do something stupid too. 1 Quote

At least to me. wonder if Kincaid would interest them? Or a Coleman for terry straight up? Josh loves a deep ball and terry is a deep ball guy 1 Quote
