Gregg Posted July 31 Posted July 31 Finally, it's here. Lions' vs Chargers tonight in the HOF game. It's preseason and the game is usually boring. I don't care. Football is back and the one thing about preseason starting is the regular season is right around the corner. The long offseason is coming to an end thankfully. Bills and Giants in 9 days. Let's Go Bills. 1 3 Quote
Yobogoya! Posted July 31 Posted July 31 No matter how mundane, when football is back it means we can finally get our fix... 1 6 Quote

Judge is hurt. I wonder if this is the offseason where they move on from Cashman and Boone. 7 minutes ago, eball said: I’m excited to watch the future grocery baggers vs. the future valet parking attendants! I can't argue as the game will most likely be a snooze fest. Still football is on TV tonight after 7 long months of an offseason. Quote

Still football is on TV tonight after 7 long months of an offseason. They are not moving on from Boone and Cashman. Injuries to the pitching staff and various injuries to position players has hurt them. Losing Cabrera has really caused problems. with that said Leiter and Cruz are returning shortly, de Los santos has been excellent in his return and Yarborough should be back in a few weeks (hopefully). Luis Gil is pitching Sunday in Miami and if schlittler doesn’t get moved today he is going to become a bullpen arm. His stuff is perfect for the role brubaker has been playing. the biggest news of the day is that the A’s have made Mason Miller available. Sounds like the Padres are the early favorites for him. He is good enough to swing a division and maybe a conference for someone. today is probably the final day for peraza and escarra as members of the Yankees. Possibly stroman also 1 Quote
Billsfed1 Posted July 31 Posted July 31 Happy for this lol. The on the field product wont be anything great, but it signifies the start of the season. 1 Quote
WotAGuy Posted July 31 Posted July 31 Dammit! I was ready to post my offseason special topic: “What vegetable does Josh Allen remind you of?” Maybe next offseason… 8 Quote
billsfan89 Posted July 31 Posted July 31 As a kid I always loved the Hall of Fame game, I wasn't old enough to know that even by pre-season standards this game was worthless and it was the first chance to watch any sort of NFL football since the Pro-Bowl (which I used to love as a last chance to see NFL players for 6ish months). Now I could care less given that even by pre-season standards this game isn't worth much but I always have fond memories from when I was first becoming a fan of the NFL. If the Bills are in it I do still check it out but probably not past the 2nd quarter. Still it does feel fun to see just how close we are to the regular season it's almost August! 1 Quote
SF Bills Fan Posted July 31 Posted July 31 I can't believe the first pre-season game is here. Snuck right up. I am not sure I am mentally prepared for the season yet. 1 Quote

Bray Wyatt Posted July 31 Posted July 31 One thing about this game, is the coaches Campbell and Harbaugh, they are super competitive. I expect these guys to be playing hard. May be better than other HoF games. Heres hoping anyway! Quote
