Ā The world wide leader in slash and burn.Ā The Titanic of sinking sports ships.Ā The very guys who can't keep pee (and other stains) off the front of their pants, and coffee stains off their ties...are buying the NFL Network, and somebody in charge at NFL Media is OK with this?! Logic Posted Wednesday at 09:03 PM Posted Wednesday at 09:03 PM It's weird to me that the NFL would even sell their media wing to an outside entity. Like...what? For a league that wants to be able to have control over presenting itself a certain way, isn't a "state-run" media outlet essential?Ā Confusing. 5 6 Quote
Doc Brown Posted Wednesday at 09:05 PM Posted Wednesday at 09:05 PM Does this mean Red Zone will be on ESPN this season?Ā Will save me having to buy the sports package on YouTube tv.Ā Quote
wppete Posted Wednesday at 09:09 PM Posted Wednesday at 09:09 PM There goes the NFL Network. ESPN is a proven disaster. The biggest pile of garbage šļø in sports.Ā 9 Quote
Process Posted Wednesday at 09:10 PM Posted Wednesday at 09:10 PM AnyoneĀ else find RedZone extremely overrated? Had it for the first time lastĀ year and was looking forward to watching as I heard a lot of good things. Terrible way to watch football IMO. Would rather just have a couple games on in multiview and catch other game highlights on Twitter.Ā Ā As far as the acquisition, Disney acquiring anything can only be a bad thing.Ā 1 8 6 Quote
NY to VA to NV to TX to AZ Posted Wednesday at 09:23 PM Posted Wednesday at 09:23 PM Now that Disney/ESPN has run itself into the ground, both streaming wise and amusement park wise, now they want to see if there is another good name for them drive into the ground and ruin. Are they trying to create a record for destroying the most profitable and good businesses the quickest. Ughā¦this is just sickening to me, now I will have no where to watch highlights and press conferences other than maybe YouTube.Ā Quote

If the Bills are not playing, RedZone is on the TV all day.Ā 3 7 Quote

As I understand it, ESPN plans to roll out a premium app for $29.99 per month, which is where Red Zone would likely land. Quote

Multiview is alright, but don't get to hear what's going on in all the games and I tend to end up only focusing on the one I can hear. 1 Quote

The Wiz Posted Wednesday at 09:36 PM Posted Wednesday at 09:36 PM So is that the reason why ESPN cut all their employees and talking heads other than Stephen A.? Quote
