Why only the white AFL jerseys? and why is one of the games on the road? Why no 90s throwback jersey paired with the red helmets? Also, as other have pointed out, wearing the red helmets for the last game when the starters are unlikely to play is lame. Ugh. Quote

I’ve never understood the love for the red helmets, the reason for their existence was idiotic. It was because the AFC East had too many teams with white helmets. Red helmets were supposed to cut down on interceptions, who came up with that concept? Then the Bills lost four Super Bowls in those helmets. They wore them for most of the drought.
