Totally agree.

As you say: fortunately for Bills fans, owners don't generally change THEMSELVES out.

It's also the reason the Jets don't concern me. Woody Johnson is an AWFUL owner.

The Pats -- with Robert Kraft, Eliot Wolf, and Mike Vrabel (not to mention Drake Maye) -- are far and away the closest to becoming contenders for AFC East supremacy.

So, we got Ross ruining the Dolphins. Johnson is doing the same with the Jets. We need Kraft out in NE and have a bad owner buy the Pats then we (Bills and Bills fans) are all set in the AFCE.

I will say - Asante Samuel Sr. comes from a career under Belichick and Brady - there was ZERO ego that was allowed to interrupt Brady and Belichick as the organization leaders.

 

Miami has (or had) Hill/Ramsey/Chubb/Wilkins who all spoke more than they could play in their tenure.  That team lacks any cohesive leader.  They have banded up for Tua during his injuries, but that has fallen apart after the Coach and GM do a poor job building and running the team to elevate their play further.

 

Coach and GM will be gone after this year - Hill will want out, and they will start a retool around Waddle/Tua/Achane - which I dont think will work.

Makes sense.  One exception I might make -is SB25 The Bills were more talented than NYG and should have overpowered them offensively, but Marv was out coached from an X’s and O’s standpoint.   Not sure partying was as big of a factor here,  but the defense sure tackled like they were playing with a hangover!

He is a terrible head coach but I do not think he has much more potential as an OC.  His offense is routinely beaten by good defenses.  He does not adjust well in my opinion and his scheme is all flash and little substance.  Overrated.

Yeah, Flores had an owner and GM who were actively tanking as opposed to going all-in with McDaniel. Yet the records are the same...

the sideline gravitas exemplified by this guy keeps brick walls quite safe from being run through anywhere in the greater metro Miami area…🤔

Miami and the Jets are a collective of talent as opposed to a cohesive team. The Bills in addition to Josh Allen also have a cohesive team concept that while infuriating at times does make sense and leads to wins

Levy wasn't really the Xs and Os guy, though. Ted and Walt were the real brains behind the on-field schemes for those early SB teams. At least to my understanding. It might have been Levy, however, who favored both sides of the ball relying on a small set of core personnel alignments and play designs, and running them repeatedly, to the point where players could execute and adjust without overthinking.
