I read the kid has impressed vs what they thought he could do in the pass game as well. It's good to have too many players that can contribute. 2 Quote

wppete Posted 7 hours ago Posted 7 hours ago Im more interested to see if he can be a special teams ace like Reggie Gilliam. 1 2 Quote
Special K Posted 7 hours ago Posted 7 hours ago It's pretty nice when your team is so stacked, they can use draft picks on highly specific needs........like in this case, 3rd TE in Goal Line situations. Maybe they also hope he can develop enough to take the TE2 position when Knox's contract runs out, or becomes too much for the strained salary cap to handle. Quote
billsfan89 Posted 6 hours ago Posted 6 hours ago He’s likely gonna be a niche role player but they have Gilliam as a good blocking fullback so I don’t think they will use Hawes as a fullback. I would be interested to see if they flex Knox into the backfield sometimes. Knox isn’t as good a blocker as Gilliam would be out the backfield but Knox is a solid blocker and a much better receiver than Hawes likely is at this point. Quote
WotAGuy Posted 6 hours ago Posted 6 hours ago Unless I read it here that he’s a blocking machine, I won’t believe it. Nope. 1 Quote
Brianmoorman4jesus Posted 5 hours ago Posted 5 hours ago I always thought we should have moved Knox to FB and used him like SF uses Juszczyk. He doesn’t have great hands but is real athletic and dangerous with the ball in his hands. I’d love to see Knox outta the backfield and the other 2 TEs as the traditional set. Not to mention the power run game we could create with an off set line, 2TEs and backfield of Josh Knox and Davis. Quote

I think it gives them more flexibility to not go to a 6th lineman so often and use more jumbo packages which can have him as a receiving option to make it harder for defenses to defend. Quote
HurlyBurly51 Posted 34 minutes ago Posted 34 minutes ago Good to have a slobber knocker on offense! https://www.si.com/nfl/bills/news/buffalo-bills-bobby-babich-slobber-knocker-of-the-week Quote
