Speaking of former Jets QBs. I think we are reaching Ryan Leaf territory as far as draft bust goes.

Zach Wilson, continuing an uneven offseason, had two passes picked (including one returned for a TD) and nearly threw a third INT and second pick-six. https://t.co/i9fvC0mE1G

What about Wilson's off field passes?  How is he doing in that department?

Pretty good I would say. It also looks like his MILF hunting days are over.

I wonder where this mook  ends up. 🤔

He's made enough money to be able to ride off into the sunset. This turd milked every dollar out of the nepotistic old boys coaching club. Good for him, but he should never have another job in the NFL again. He should end up doing yard work and coaching his kids pop warner team.

What’s so wild about Hackett is he got an OC job so soon after one of the worst HC tenures ever. He had to hire somebody to help with clock management after 2 games. We rip on McDermott, but that’s a level of incompetence that’s almost impressive

No way!  Keep that empty headed f*** away from any  sort of mentor role in youth sports.  Top row of bleacher seats at best, and with duct tape over his yap. 🤨

This guy thirsts so hard to come off as this complex, inscrutable, profound deep thinker. He’s actually just incredibly shallow and dull. A big draw for the Pat McAfee crowd

I will say this. If ...and it's a big if, the ol of Pittsburgh can keep Rodger upright they will be a tough out. Rodgers can still read a defense and still has the arm to make all the throws. His negative is his body isn't getting any younger and he is a statue in the pocket. I am not laughing with this signing like some.

He is still a good QB but his ego is intolerable. Which is why we all want him to fail.

But, he honestly fits right in with all the Steelers fans I know.

agree with all but the last part.  Here in Pgh most are weary of Rodgers.

Both the Steelers and Penguins have long had this problem.  They rely way too long on over-the-hill stars - see Roethlisberger, Malkin, Lemeiux.

Malkin should have been traded years ago.  Too late now

He was 25th in QBR last year.  He was 20th in EPA per play in minimum 250 snaps.  This was despite Garrett Wilson and DeVante Adams at his disposal.  The offensive line was slightly above average according to most of the advanced metrics yet he still took 40 sacks last year.  Rodgers in his prime was the best QB I've seen in my lifetime but father time caught up to him even before he tore his Achilles.  Plus, Rodgers likes to play in the spread from the shotgun.  Arthur Smith has never heard of that formation.  Who's their best WR besides DK Metcalf?  It's not good depth there.  Other than that, I think he'll be great.

And had a terrible OL. If he gets an top end OL play he can still be a menace. As I said,a big if.

O-line pass blocking was above average last year for the Jets.  His numbers last year in almost every advanced metric weren't that different than his last year in Green Bay.  He'll have a similar year to last year at best.
