I don't think much of Joe but I 100% would rather have Joe flacco as my quarterback than shador Sanders

He's tyrod Taylor with less mobility.. a 6 ft 1 pocket passer who can't move great and doesn't have a crazy strong arm

 

He is good against man coverage which is a plus, but he's a little weak versus zone which most of the NFL does

 

I am not that high in Sanders either. The difference between us here is you think the corpse of Joe Flaccon can still play. I don't. Not even a little bit.

Yea but you hear people talk about the first half of that season and they were not sure he was the best QB on the roster. Most talented, yep. But he still had some kinks and Smith was playing good ball.

12 touchdowns to 7 interceptions with an 90 rating while not being the full-time guy 

 

I don't think Sanders is anything close to a 90 rating as a rookie and is going to be under seven yards per attempt And Joe was over 7 yards.. Sanders will have 15 pics and 12 touchdowns if he starts 10 games

 

If you sit Sanders he might become better throwing him to the fire will keep his NFL career short and quick as a starter

 

Like tyrod Taylor he can have a long career if he sits on the bench for a few years... He needs to sit he has way too many flaws

He’ll get the job, the owner already made them draft him, if you think he won’t force them to play him, I think you are mistaken.  I can not for the life of me understand what they were doing drafting Gabriel, dude is a priority undrafted FA at best.  What a waste of picks to not only take him, but then trade UP to take a better QB after him.

The fact the Browns thought drafting Dillon Gabriel in Round 2 to be an NFL QB is laughable. Kenny Pickett is blah. Joe Flacco is an old fart. Shadeur should be the answer eventually (perhaps after Flacco plays a few weeks).

I thought that I remember being reports when the offense went in a slump in the middle of the season that some players thought Mahomes should start.  Maybe I'm misremembering though.

The Browns aren’t the organization to help cultivate the skills and talents of any young QB.

 

 Maybe Sanders is the best of an uninspiring QB group in Cleveland, but it won’t matter because until they get new ownership and a new direction, it’s just more of the same.
