Special K Posted 13 hours ago Posted 13 hours ago There are a lot of great choices, and since this is a subjective question, we should have a lot of varying answers on this one. I'll give honorable mention to Gwen Stefani and Alanis Morissette, but even though she was a little bit before my time, I have to give the top prize to Stevie Nicks. She has the perfect mix of musical talent, longevity, style, and looks, IMO. Who's your favorite??? 3 Quote

SirAndrew Posted 6 hours ago Posted 6 hours ago I agree, Stevie Nicks is quite iconic, both with Fleetwood Mac and solo. She also never ruined her image trying to chase pop stardom like many others. Female rockstars are a tough subject. There are many talented ones, but if you draw the line at pop vs rock. I think there’s more talented female pop stars through the years than rock stars, same with country. Quote

Another Fan Posted 4 hours ago Posted 4 hours ago Madonna. The whole Catholic imagery thing I always found real sexy a great song and I looked up to her as like this older goddess when this song and music video came out 2 1 Quote

Gugny Posted 3 hours ago Posted 3 hours ago (edited) Stevie Nicks was great until she became a baritone. That takes her through Rumours. After that … meh. As far as “rock” goes, I’ll have to go with Ann Wilson because of her voice. I’ve always been a big fan of Janis, but her catalogue is limited (for obvious reasons). I think Joan Jett has always been an absolute badass and she is another one of my favorites. But I really only like a handful of her songs. My favorite female artist of all time is Amy Winehouse, but she’s nothing close to rock. Edited 3 hours ago by Gugny Quote
US Egg Posted 3 hours ago Posted 3 hours ago (edited) Couple of the best “Punk Chicks” both came out of NYC’s/CBGB’s awesome ‘70’s punk scene. .....forgot to add the greatest Female "Punk" performance ever, Candy Slice: Edited 26 minutes ago by US Egg 1 Quote

Not that there's anything wrong with it and I have very fond memories of "Stand Back" and her other hits. 1 Quote
