Mat68 Posted May 27 Posted May 27 (edited) Im sure some are. My first Bills football memory was laughing manically as an older sibling was crying in their Raider starter jacket when Buffalo won to make the superbowl. I was very young and a fan ever since. The drought years were very tough. When in doubt the current Bills are what any fan hoped for during that time. I still think Allen will go crazy in a playoff run and win a superbowl like Farve and Rodgers. Edited May 27 by Mat68 Quote

Buffalo ill Posted May 28 Posted May 28 I used to care about letting everyone know how long I rooted for the Bills. Now i just wait around for the yearly playoff loss to the chiefs. None of it really matters. 1 Quote
Mango Posted May 28 Posted May 28 (edited) In my town one of my council people's father is serving nearly 5 years in prison for defrauding millions of dollars from people in a ponzi scheme. She grew up mega wealthy, is totally inept at basically everything. She is also a theif facing charges for literal theft from a store here. The literal reason she gave was that she had somewhere to be, didn't want to wait in line so just left with a cart full of stuff. She wasn't stopped by an employee. Rather County Sheriff's we're outside waiting, put her in cuffs and booked her. A friend of mine at the stores corporate HQ said that that is protocol if it's somebody they've caught on camera before but couldn't stop. So likely a repeat they identified when she walked in the door and they called the police to wait outside. But my least favorite thing about her is that she lets her daughter scooters around town in Allen, Rodgers, Wilson, and Mahomes jerseys. (If she was on a bike I'd put a stick in her wheel). Like way to keep your generational trash going by just raising your family to be a bunch of bandwagoners. They've now claimed the Bills and go to the occasional game. I see it all over social media comments and photos. And now I have to share my favorite team with this super insufferable human. So yeah, thanks a lot Josh. Edited May 28 by Mango 3 Quote

The Sabres are accepting of new fans I'm sure if you miss the non bandwagon fans. And want to keep in B Lo. Quote

Poleshifter Posted May 29 Posted May 29 I’ve been a Bills fan since 1960 or so. Played pitch and catch in the street as Jack Kemp and Glenn Bass. I have a Stew Barber autograph around here somewhere. Quote
Just Jack Posted May 30 Posted May 30 (edited) I have an uncle that is a T-Bone. He was a Redskins fan for decades, till they were forced to change their name. He swore then that he was done with the NFL. Till a few years ago when he suddenly is a Bills fan, even paying to get a flagpole installed so he can fly a Bills flag. He lives near Rochester so it's not like he was already surrounded by Bills fans for years. Edited May 30 by Just Jack Quote

Capco Posted May 30 Posted May 30 Sadly, I became a Bills fan during the Bledsoe-Losman transition era. 2004 was a wild enough ride of a season to keep me hooked and Billieving until the end of the drought. 1 Quote
Thrivefourfive Posted Saturday at 12:04 AM Posted Saturday at 12:04 AM Young fans are more likely to follow players, not teams. Shame really. But if Josh makes them fans, I love it. More the merrier. 1 1 Quote
steven50 Posted Saturday at 04:41 AM Posted Saturday at 04:41 AM (edited) I was a fan of the Buffalo Bills when Joe Ferguson was QB, long before this board (or the internet) existed. Edited Saturday at 04:42 AM by steven50 Quote
SydneyBillsFan Posted Saturday at 02:45 PM Posted Saturday at 02:45 PM On the bandwagon since 2016. What great timing to see Tyrod lead us to the playoffs followed by some bum from Wyoming. Why Buffalo? Because I found out that they were runners-up from 1990-1993. My childhood rugby league team in Australia since 1978 - the Balmain Tigers (whose club emblem is my avatar) - were twice runners-up in 1988-1989 - the second being a shattering overtime loss. Heartbreak understands heartbreak. The point being is that it had zilch to do with JA17. But heck, i'll take it. Quote
