Well, the Super Bowl champs always open the season on a Thursday. So it won't be back to back.

I would almost guarantee the league has the bills new stadium factored into 2026.

 

 Most new stadiums (if not all) have opened on Sunday night football if you look at past history, and I doubt they would want the bills on Sunday night football to open the season on back to back years. (Of course if the bills win the Super Bowl, that would change that).
