I wanted a QB in this draft. Thought it made sense to start developing a guy. I think that I want Shadeur at this point. He probably has to go somewhere with an unquestioned starter at this point. If he’s good you can eventually get a haul. If he’s a backup, so be it. The Bills locker room is strong enough to take in all that comes with drafting him. He is as likely to be good as Dillon Gabriel or freakin’ Kyle McCord 🤷🏻‍♂️

Or they don’t particularly like the WRs available - I think it’s more that.

McDermott always wanted him to be a "Tannehill with the Titans" type QB, since Day One. Handoff mostly, make a pass downfield here and there, don't take any chances. They still coach him like that to some degree.

They aren’t looking for an emergency guy if Josh goes down.  Josh wants guys who can help him in the QB room, not a guy they need to teach.
