Here's today's chatter: There's buzz in league circles that Vikings DC Brian Flores, Senior VP of Player Personnel Ryan Grigson, and QB coach Josh McCown could come to the Jets as a package deal, being HC, GM, and OC, respectively. Captain_Quint Posted January 15 Posted January 15 That's probably the best idea, so far. You have guys who already work together and know each other. They have built a decent team in Minn. However, I wouldn't be real excited to see Flores as HC, if I'm a Jets fan. And can they stand the NYC pressure, as well as a terrible owner? I'm still holding out hope that they hire Rex back in some capacity. That would be pure entertainment again. 3 1 Quote

Generic_Bills_Fan Posted January 15 Posted January 15 (edited) Strictly head coach speaking I feel like Flores is pretty solid…idk about grigson though or Mccown earning a promotion lol the ceiling for the jets HC is probably around there seeing as they are a known nightmare ownership wise team would’ve looked different for sure but Flores really wasn’t far off from McDaniel’s W/L results in Miami and he was pretty early on in the rebuild when fired. GunnerBill Posted January 16 Posted January 16 Flo and McCown as a package deal is a decent idea for the Jets (and I don't mind it for the Bills because as good a coach as I think Flo is Josh used to eat his Miami defense alive). Meh. after 1 year as qb coach with the panthers debacle, and 1 year as qb coach in Minnesota I’m not sure you turn McCown loose as an OC under a defensive head coach yet.
