msw2112 Posted May 14 Share Posted May 14 (edited) After a rocky start with the Bills, Jones has put together a decent career and has made some money for himself. Absent his history with the team, he would have been a decent FA signing, along the same lines as Cephyus, Claypool, and Valdez-Scantling. They're all veteran WRs who have had some success in the league but haven't been at the top of their game for a couple of seasons (for various reasons). Of the four, Claypool has the highest ceiling. Jones won't win any MVP awards with the Cardinals, but he'll be part of the WR rotation and make some catches to help the team.
