Logic
Just as the title says. In your opinion, what player is the draft community too low on, that you think will (or at least should) be drafted higher than where the analysts and the draftniks have him going currently? I'll start: Troy Franklin, WR, Oregon. I get it, it's a great WR class. Still, for all you hear about the big three, Brian Thomas, AD Mitchell, Xavier Worthy, Keon Coleman...Troy Franklin tends to be an afterthought. Yes, he's skinny. He's also fast, silky smooth, has legitimate ability to win deep, and posted quality production at Oregon the past two years, including 1383 yards and 14 touchdowns in 2023. To me, he's akin to a Devonta Smith, Chris Olave type, if perhaps a step down (though not a big one) in overall talent from those two. I think everyone is too low on Troy Franklin. I'm not sure that, after the big three receivers, he's not the next best guy. I like him a lot. So who's yours? Which player is the draft community too low on? 6
MrEpsYtown
Spencer Rattler...put him on Washington, or LSU, or Oregon, or Michigan or Florida State or whatever and I just wonder if the results are different. There is something about him...I'm not typically a small quarterback guy, but I find him interesting in terms of the arm talent and athleticism. The wrist flick on some of his deep throws are just different. His college film isn't much different than Patrick Mahomes' was. I think if Rattler gets in the right situation he will make it. 4 2 2
njbuff
Johnny Wilson. The kid could be a legitimate red zone threat right away for the right team. 4
Dillenger4
Latu - he should be top 10. If he falls to 15-18 we move up. Boom 4 3

I'm highly dubious as to his ability to be a traditional NFL receiver. But as a move player, big slot, TE/WR hybrid that's used situationally and in the red zone? I think he could have some real value. Put him up against a 5'9" slot corner and throw it up high to him. Let the big man work.

NewEra
Ja’lynn Polk. He has great hands, possesses physicality, run blocking ability, contested catches and is a threat downfield. And he already has an nfl body. That’s my guy. 6 6
Allen2D̶i̶g̶g̶s̶TBD
RB - Ray Davis - Kentucky I think he may end up being the best running back in the draft. He didn't have a great combine, but he simply knows how to play ball. WR - Roman Wilson + Javon Baker The only reason they aren't being discussed much is that this draft is loaded with receivers. Both are good route runners with great hands. CB - Kamari Lassiter - Great player but his weight (180 lbs) might be scaring away some teams Edited April 9 by Allen2D̶i̶g̶g̶s̶TBD

dpberr
Cam Hart, corner, Notre Dame Very smart football player, and he plays up to his opponents. His best games in college were against the better receivers. Has the characteristics of an outstanding zone corner or safety. 1

I am saying after the top 3 guys he is next. Analytically he grades out as very good in basically every metric beside contested catches. Had above 3 yards per route run against man and zone, one of the top graded WRs against single coverage in the last few years (up there with Davante Smith, Jamar Chase, etc.). When it comes to explosive plays, he generated a 30 yard gain in 12/13 games. He had a 40 yard gain in 7/13 games. Both led the class. He is just a very consistent, explosive and well rounded receiver that a poor combine is dragging down the boards. When you watch him play, you see why the analytics are so high on him. Excellent release package, can make plays at three levels, has some nastiness and wiggle to his yac, and was ALWAYS on the same page as Bo Nix. I go into a little more detail in this thread: But imo, Troy Franklin is WR4 and my top target for the Bills. 1 2

Talented guy, looks like one of the tope recruits who just never could put it all together. I don't see him doing so when it gets that much more difficult. 17 minutes ago, NewEra said: Ja’lynn Polk. Allen2Moulds
For me it's Tez Walker. 4.3 6'1.5" Long arms Big hands Route running needs improvement, but seems fixable. 4 2

Tez Walker looks really good. Really hope he is there at #60 for us. He would be a great down filed weapon for Josh.

BuffaloBillyG
Keon Coleman. I think his Combine sunk his stock a bit with the draft community. But watching the tale he plays very fluid and smooth I see some Mike Williams in him and he's going to EAT in the red zone. That said, he's not a match for what I feel Buffalo should draft. 6

HappyDays
I'm sticking with Keon Coleman. Every draft analyst I follow keeps posting his contested catch percentage and that's the end of the conversation for them. Personally I would bet on his size, strength, and competitiveness. He is not even 21 years old yet so he has room to grow into his skill set. When it all comes together I think he could be a true WR1. He won't separate with quicks but he'll bully defenders through the route, at the catch point, and with the ball in his hands. 7 1
BarleyNY
Jermaine Burton, WR, Alabama. Off the field - and on the field after a game - concerns but 1st round talent. Some team will get a steal on day 2 if he puts that stuff behind him. 4
