I disagree that the new Buffalo Bills stadium won’t be relevant it will be domed by New York State the stadium owner and used for more things than just football for the South towns and Western New York community at large when the NFL leaves Buffalo. This is speculative but I think there will be professional football in Buffalo but more on the local club football level that people will go to as community owned teams because cities like Buffalo, Pittsburgh, Cleveland, Cincinnati and Green Bay are going to want those present stadiums which formerly house NFL football teams with a football tenant in it. It will be more regional football league with travel to near by cities like Buffalo vs Cleveland or Buffalo vs Pittsburgh. I don’t see Pittsburgh, Cleveland, Cincinnati, Kansas City, Minnesota, Miami, Tampa Bay, Jacksonville, New Orleans, Atlanta or Green Bay keeping there NFL teams either. They will exist in a stadium campus in Los Angeles, Chicago, New York/New Jersey and Las Vegas as a television show production with no more NFL city names just the Packers or the Bills like Roller Derby Bombers vs Chiefs or T-Birds vs Red Devils.
 

NFL will be relevant to people because they still will gamble on it and watch the results on large screen televisions at home. But I agree that the numbers will shrink in numbers without the home city names. Plus club owned teams will become popular with fans because they will go to what they have in town to get out of the house on the weekends it’s just going to be different. You can always find football players. The NFL just isn’t interested in working class fans or mid sized cities that aren’t Los Angeles, New York/New Jersey, Chicago and Las Vegas anymore. Quite frankly I am already tired of the NFL owners nonsense. When you see successful Buffalo funeral home owner locally who is a huge Buffalo Bills fan say his tickets in the clubs are going up from $25,000 dollars a seat a season to $400,000 plus you still have to buy the tickets, parking say too steep for him after 2025 in the old stadium. It’s over the Buffalo Bills and Legends way overpriced the PSL’s. Let them leave after 15 years frankly it’s for the best if that is all the NFL owners are interested in screwing the long time football season ticket holders.
 

I thought this was going to happen that people aren’t forking over all there income to just give it to the Buffalo Bills owner it’s disgusting the greed. How much is enough Terry Pegula? The bottom line Terry Pegula is stuck for 15 years in Buffalo no outs ironclad so he will have to lower the PSL’s or have a half empty stadium for his last 15 years in Buffalo. Terry Pegula will cave when it gets closer to the new Bills stadium opener and reality sets in that Legends can’t sell the PSL’s at that high of PSL prices. Legends will blame Buffalo market to Terry Pegula but that won’t fix a half empty stadium so Terry Pegula will have to cave lowering the PSL’s as we get closer to the opener because a half empty stadium isn’t good getting nothing instead of lowering the PSL prices to at least get someone using the seats. Empty stadium seats don’t help the Buffalo Bills something is better than nothing Terry Pegula will figure that out when we get closer to the new stadium opening in my opinion. Go Bills! Let’s Go Buffalo

Affordable will be cheap tickets most can afford. The teams version of affordable vs ours is drastically different unfortunately. But the team is also good now so it’s at a premium. When the up and down days someday return more will be back at a lower price.

Part of that is regionality.  IN NYS there was money already allocated to to complete Route 219 for years but competition was blocked repeatedly.

 

Newspapers report more support for stadiums in their area but same columnists will oppose funding stadiums in other areas.

 

I think there would have been less support for stadium if future plans (PSL costs, "take it or go to end of line" seat choices) were announced and they knew that from studies so they as most projects did only presented positive info.

My guess is the billionaire energy conglomerate would find a couple hundred million by drilling a couple more holes.

The PSL numbers out there are surprising (and higher than expected). With that being said, I’d like to see the number of tickets at each pricing threshold.
 

I sit in the club by th goal line. I was expecting $12k(ish) for a PSL. Now, I’m expecting $20k but don’t have my time yet. That’s annoying and gives me a little more pause before committing. I almost certainly will but it’s more than I expected for my location/amenities. If I’m paying for it, I want to see what else I’m getting. In London, we say in the “equivalent” of our seats in OP. The buffet was included and food throughout the game. If we are following suit here, it makes it more palatable. 
 

Lastly, there has been a lot of talk about how, “they won’t show you the the pricing options.” My guess, is that none of that has been finalized yet. There is almost certainly an algorithm that states, “if we sell ‘X’ club seat PSLs the lower level PSLs will cost ‘y’ and upper level PSLs will cost ‘z.’” That’s a moving target though. They are working back from the revenue number that they need to hit. The more $50k PSLs are sold, the better off those people later on will be. My $.02

My guess is the club seats were a test balloon for what they could charge and they are basing decisions off of that. Vast majority of people are not club so they probably are seeing what the sentiment is

I would think no way a $20K PSL for your location now. The East Clubs are 20K and think they are midfield for the most part. Field Clubs( no heat or coverage, but club access) $15k. 
 

yku know the business of sports better than me, but my thinking is if you have clubs today, you most likely have the ability to carry the freight on the Club PSLs. Not all, but prolly vast majority. 
 

So far, the PSLs we have seen  are such a small slice of the base. and for the most part people who have $$$$
 

As I was chatting with @Mr Info yesterday , I think the real test is coming in terms of the sections between the 30-30s in the lower bowl. Lots of folks there 20,30, 40 yr STH, and my guess is, just pure guess, maybe not the $$$ to front $10k on a PSL. Again, most the griping I think coming now from non club seat holders extrapolating what their PSL might be based on the club. Think that is a mistake. 
 

and I gotta trust Legends is an expert at this stuff. I would think the AI ***** that can pound through income, costs , demographic date etc on Buffalo is dictating where they go with pricing. 
 

I am most likely in no matter what, but really fear I am not gunna have my precious aisle seats! But hey, maybe having a pee and getting a beer ain’t gunna be a twenty minute process in the new joint!

I never thought PSLs would go as high as $50k.  There may be a higher turnover than everyone anticipated.  Some people may not even have a choice but to opt out.  That sucks.

Borrowing at any rate higher than inflation for non-essential or non-income producing purposes is a poor financial decision... but you do you.

 

I'm not sure what PSL number would be palatable for the masses.  I've had season tickets for nearly 20 years.  2x my season ticket cost is justifiable to me.  3x is my break point.  I have no idea if that's realistic or not, but that's the walk-away figure I've  come up with.

Interesting way to look at it I had not thought about previously.

Think prolly looking closer to 5x for highly desirable seats( lower bowl between the 30s) , graduated out from there depending on location, and prolly being somewhere near 1x for upper upper seats. 
 

All just pure guesses on my part!

Pure speculation - new ticket price will be within 20% of  current.  I think they'd lose too many season ticket holders if they package a PSL fee and huge jump.  5 years from now I can see the season prices being double what they are now.
