And for those who say i'll just go to 2-3 games a year - FACE VALUE price on ticketmaster for the worst seat in the house for the KC game is $356.00.

 

I think it's a pretty decent investment as a bills fan.

My seats will be a 1k-1.5K PSL.  I sit in the upper corners, and I love it there. 

 

Each of those seats in the new stadium are going to be gobbled up, if not by actual season ticket members who attend games like myself, brokers will grab them.  The average ticket price for my seat is $80 a game, and the Bills are selling a seat right behind my row for the KC game for $356 dollars.  All I have to do this year is sell the BALT and KC game, this year, and my seasons are paid for, and I attend 7 games for nothing.  Sell a few more over the next 3 years, paid off PSLs.  

 

For someone who goes to lots of games, loves the tailgate, and couldn't care less where they sit (like me), it's a no brainer to pay those PSLs.  I think in 2-3 years I could transfer my seasons and get the 1K/seat PSL back.

 

Now - the expensive lower bowl or clubs, not the same thing.  Comparing apples and oranges.  Anyone who paid 50K for a PSL, ya, you're not worrying about selling those down the road, and if you are, then good luck to you.

Idk if anyone should expect to get the initial cost of a PSL back a few years down the road, let alone more 

 

But if you like going to games, a $1k-$1.5k PSL in which you can pay off over 18 months interest free isnt terrible

That’s where I’m at. I never thought about the ROI on it. I thought, “what is a better use of money while living in Buffalo?” The Bills are something that I spend my money on, and never regret it. My brother and I each have 2. I have a little boy on the way just after Thanksgiving and he had one born 4 weeks ago. We will be able to bring these little boys up like we were.

Honestly? I agree with ya.

1500 bucks is a day at Disney for a family of 4. That's worth it for 30 years of fun.

I expected PSLs for at least 10 years and saved up for them. So it was money already earmarked.

The $1,000 PSL has been released. They are in the upper deck corners. There are still many sections left and I wonder if we'll see PSLs fall to $750 or $500?

I always thought that they’d have PSLs under $1K because of the messaging. Basically they can say, “everyone can afford it” at that point. You have 10 years to pay off $1K. I would have thought that they would have said, early on, the lowest priced number that would be coming out. You do risk people waiting it out so I get it. It would have been a powerful message though to say, “PSLs will be as low as $500 a piece.” 
 

FWIW, there has been VERY little pushback to date on the pricing of the PSLs. There hasn’t been this giant line in the sand that some people predicted when this process started. It really never happens. Nobody “wants” to pay it but the overwhelming majority of people “will” do it. This is always the case but holds especially true with the timing of it for the Bills. This process, in 2014 or 2015, would have been WAY more difficult than it is now. They are so, so, so fortunate to have drafted Josh Allen.

$2,000 spread over ten years works out to $20.00 per game, and less if it gives you access to other events. In ten years that’ll be chump change. Seems like a good price to guarantee a sideline spot under the roof.

This was the first time I looked at the total chart. My seats are in the $8k section (Bills side). Overall, I think they did a pretty good job pricing the PSLs, they covered the spectrum very well and as mentioned by others there is a level that is accessible for a wide swath of fans.

 

I viewed the $8k/seat (I have 4) as not bad - amortized over the life of the PSL it is $267/season, which as it turns out is going to be just under the cost of a regular season ticket. I knew the game tickets were going to go up a lot and was more concerned about that. Mine are going from the current about $180 (I think, never know how to factor in the preseason games) to about $300, which is a huge jump - 8 regular season game cost per ticket up from about $1,440 to $2,400.

That will never work. Lots of other teams have figured out this "season tickets holders selling tickets to recoup costs" scheme and the Bills will shut it down just like other teams have done.

 

They are your season tickets but you do not have the right to sell them.

 

Home teams are afraid of home games being filled with opposing fans like if the steelers came to town. 

 

Bottom line if you cant afford the tickets then don't buy them.

 

Here is an example of the Colts penalizing their season ticket holders for selling their season tickets
