The idea of holding season tickets with PSLs?  I wouldn't entertain the notion even if I lived in Buffalo.

Buying single game tickets a la carte to the ones you actually want to see in person, and maybe visiting an away game or two would have much more appeal to me and would be significantly cheaper.  I suspect a lot of people are thinking along these same lines.

Afford? No.

Buy them anyway and put themselves into crippling credit card debt to watch football? I’d bet my next paycheck on it.

The real American dream

You're correct that we may never know the answer, but if they sellout early in March or April (as predicted in the BN article) that's a clear indication that they're very close to their target revenue. Legends knows what they're doing, they aren't going to prematurely drop PSL prices and forgo millions in revenue just to say "Hey look, we sold out 6 months early!"

That’s fair and Legends definitely knows what they’re doing. They are the best at this. I’m suggesting that they’ve likely, already, tweaked pricing from their original plan to get to where they are. It may be minor. It may be major. It may not have happened. They monitor trends, close percentage, demand, the WNY markst, etc… You have to be nimble IMO with a whole stadium to sell.

From my own experience going through the process, it felt like the pricing was a little reactionary. We held off after the trip through because it was more than we wanted to pay. We were told that’s what they have available now. Less than a week later, we were called, moved across the aisle, and saved 25%. That could be coincidental but it didn’t feel like it. It felt a little like a car negotiation. Basically they knew we were going to be in and paying a big number. It felt a little bit like, “a bird in the hand” from them. Again, it’s a little anectodal but it felt like they left $20k on the table between my brother and I. We ultimately would have paid it but it became a matter of who will blink first. It COULD be coincidental but I doubt it. It seemed like they did what they needed to get the deal done and they slid us across the aisle (literally the seats next to the ones we looked at) to get it done. They save face by moving us 4 seats further from midfield. They get 4 club seats sold and we save 25% a piece.

I just saw this posted on buffalobills reddit. Unsure of its accuracy but it correlates to my seats.

They did all the heavy lifting already (Clubs and Sideline Seats).  Now it's the upper levels, with PSLs about 1k-1.5k.  They will sell them all.  Think of it, you get them, and then sell 2-3 games and you've basically made your PSLs back.  The draw next year for those seats will be big - only 8 home games with KC, DET, CHI, and probably BALT (AFC north team) AND the draw of a brand new stadium.  People want to see this fail, but they will sell them all and people who get the uppers at a reasonable PSL price will be laughing.

Look at how much of the stadium hasn't been opened for sale yet, and they are already down to $1500.

If I were there I would get a loan for thr 4-6k it would take for good upper seats.

We have no idea what the seat count is. Reports swing wildly.

My ST rep told me I couldn't get any closer than back 5 rows if I wanted to stay between the 30's. That there were zero seats closer. So IDK, maybe she was BS'ing me as not to spend an hour clicking around the stadium. But that is what I was told.

That's when we will hear the sob stories about someone's kid crying they can't see their hero Josh Allen in person and can someone sell them tickets for $20.

Been a season ticket holder since 2008.  I didn't get much sympathy from those same people during the draught when I couldn't make the game in December and unloaded my tickets for $6 on stubhub with a big loss.  I mean, not many people were flocking to bring their kids to the stadium to see Brian Brohm, Thad Lewis, Trent Edwards or Nathan Peterman.  The ebbs and flows, demand will be high at first, but post Josh, who knows.

The reason that they are on pace to sell out in March/April (if that’s true) is because they already adjusted PSL figured based on sales numbers.

I doubt they put PSL numbers in stone. They have probably oscillated quite a bit.

I've been a STH for over 15 years (on and off) and I had to say no, mostly due to the PSL. It sucks, I love being a STH and getting to know all the people around you, but with all the other things in life (kids, daycare, home ownership) I had to cut something. Maybe in a few years, I'll join the party but right now, I had to bow out and I hate it

I'll be at every game this year, I'm taking it all in. But when the season kicks off in 2026, I'll be at home
