Warcodered Posted March 7 Share Posted March 7 (edited) For all the people happy about them losing a guy they spent money keeping for his Special Teams play, I'm not sure him taking a step back in said Special Teams play isn't a big reason why he's getting the axe. I'm not really sure, but I haven't really noticed him as a gunner as much this last season, and you usually can. Hate the roster and cap space used for special teams. I understand it was probably all funny money but still. Yep. And he wasn't the same guy without Taiwan on the other side. Gunners have to work in tandem. Taiwan and Siran were a great tandem. He wasn't the same without him. Still believe that teams could essentially eliminate the need for special team coverage "specialists" by kicking every kickoff out of EZ and punting oob.
