I am in camp "Eff Von Miller" so lets get that one out of the way. I don't want him on the team any longer. More so than a Nike or Apple, stuff I purchase and use, I don't cheer for my phone. I cheer for my favorite sports team and I would like them to have some sense of right and wrong because of it.

I can tolerate the  "We are letting the league run its course". To which I would hope is sort of kicking the can down the road to sort the cap situation out. And even if it is not, it is enough for me to pretend it is on Sundays.

What I am really struggling with is the "This is out of character". Because it isn't.

Yeah then Graham tried to corner him with the prior accusations question and his response was "those are just accusations"

Almost get the sense Von told Beane a version of the story that he wasn't physically abusive that he bought.  Beane says multiple times they are comfortable with him being there, let facts come out etc. - as well as implying the story not consistent w/ the person they've known 1.5 yrs.  To me that would be a weird thing to say if you thought he might have done everything in the report

Somewhat worried about the league imposing a sin-tax retribution in the Bills administered by the game officials.  Thinking back to Wade calling out the officials in ‘98 and the ensuing raining down of yellow flags every game after.  All the flags thrown against the chiefs in the superbowl v the Bucs after the Britt Reid fiasco.

Von shouldn't be on the field because he sucks, and is giving zero effort on the field. He should benched based on his play.

They were given a good excuse and time to do it but aren't, because no balls.

Has nothing to do with an "angry mob" you keep trying to make this about.

It's funny one reporter asked both Beane and McD separately have you considered not playing Von bc he sucks

if we do get jobbed by the refs (like last game against the Eagles), I don’t think this will be the reason why

This is a good reminder that Adrian Peterson has no guilty verdict for beating his 4 year old with a switch or for getting physical with his wife on an airplane, forcing it to land early and escorted off in handcuffs.

He pleaded no contest to both.

When these things happen to the women and children of the NFL and people say "they are just accusations" I think of AP all the time. This is how big the NFL and their franchises are. Adrian Peterson should 100% have served jail time. Instead he received a relative slap on the wrist and kept playing football.

It’s been reported that if Von Miller is suspended under the NFL’s PCP, it voids out 17-something million in guarantees for next year.

I’ve seen/read/heard nothing about this being false. This is the only avenue for help with his contract, and it might just be 2024. Beane may have added it to his contracted given the previous two allegations that went away.

I saw that from Skurski and Florio. My take is that there might be somethings conflated with a suspension/the exempt list, and that guaranteed money not being counted for those weeks.

Maybe you are right, and maybe Bean is playing chess to the leagues checkers and he wants them to suspend him so they can get out of this contract.

But my initial thought is Florio is wrong.

I agree.  Tell me which team rules, or social media policies, Von has violated?

So, his girlfriend called 911, and said she needs the cops to come over because VM is out of control...that's a fact. She obviously was in fear of getting hurt, or maybe even in fear for her life. Cops show up shortly thereafter and see visible bruises on her body, and bruises ON HER NECK.....that's factual, as it’s in the police report. The latter is certainly why the arrest warrant was issued. Any woman can call 911 and make up stories to "get back" at their man, but that alone won't cause an arrest, because anybody can make up anything. Plus as mentioned WAY upthread, *supposedly* she turned on her phone to record, and then put it in her pocket. I'm reasonably sure that the initial cops on the scene listened to that recording, and that also probably played into VM being charged.

I would hope somewhere in his contract he has a "morals" clause, or something similar, where choking your pregnant girlfriend calls for a suspension. But who knows, maybe there is nothing to address this matter. 😧

It’s a police matter so Von Miller continues to get paid by the legal terms of his Buffalo Bills contract. But with that said he shouldn’t dress on game day for Buffalo Bills games until his legal case is resolved. I don’t want to see Von Miller in a Bills uniform on Sunday against the Kansas City Chiefs or any Bills game until his legal case is resolved. I have been a Buffalo Bills fan for 49 years and counting this isn’t the right way to handle the situation you put Von Miller on paid leave he can practice with the Bills to stay physically fit for football but he can’t dress for Bills games until his case is resolved than you go from there depending on the legal verdict. I think that is more than fair to Von Miller until his legal case is resolved in my opinion. Go Bills! Let’s Go Buffalo

It’s definitely possible, Beane might figure the NFL will not suspend him if the Bills do.

I really don’t think Von is getting suspended, unless the Bills do and they won’t have much ground to stand on if the league doesn’t care and DA doesn’t pursue it.

it's not a fact until proven so. it's an accusation until that point.

I agree. If you can’t suspend then make him a healthy scratch. It’s the right thing to do.

Correct, but “hey anyone, boyst stole my lunch”

and

“Hey police, I’d like to provide a signed statement and press charges that boyst is stealing my lunch” and they arrive and document evidence that supports that you stole my lunch,

is different.

it won't phase his HOF election 1 bit, as far as being a GM we have to see how he handles himself in the public eye the next 5-10 years.

If he did get offered the gig and take it, he’d just tell us over and over again via interviews and social media that he would’ve taken less to work with the Cowboys.

At the least, this is the perfect excuse to plaster Von to the inactive list. Guy is a detriment to the team at his current level of play.

Everybody and their Mother can plainly see this, so what are the brain trust at OBD & down in south Florida (Terry Pegula) waiting for?! It's very puzzling.
