But I watched the Seahawks game against the Bengals two weeks ago, and the Seahawks were a few plays away from a win but Geno messed it up. They had the ball in the RZ twice late in the 4th, down only 4 points and couldn't punch it in. On one of those drives, Geno Smith took a BRUTAL sack instead of throwing the ball away. So, I just don't see how adding pass rush helps them win those close games where they need the offense to make a play.

Because that Cinci game isn’t every game.  He’s been solid.  He came through vs a great browns d yesterday.

One trade? 🤪🤷🏽‍♂️

There are fewer and fewer each year. Most coaches and GMs get two years now at most.  So if they are 2-5 at the deadline they don’t think of themselves as sellers.  They are thinking they need to somehow get to 8 wins to save their job. They may be inclined to buy if they had any support from ownership.

Great pick up for the bears. They will for sure extend him. He’s a great player.

Seeing that they just gave up a pick more than likely in the top 12 of the 2nd round I imagine they have to extend him.

They can't miss two years in a row like this.
