They had the ball in the RZ twice late in the 4th, down only 4 points and couldn't punch it in. On one of those drives, Geno Smith took a BRUTAL sack instead of throwing the ball away. So, I just don't see how adding pass rush helps them win those close games where they need the offense to make a play. Because that Cinci game isn’t every game. He’s been solid. He came through vs a great browns d yesterday.
Aussie Joe
This is the “confirmed trade thread” … but no doubt that each thread that happens will be discussed in a separate thread … Can never have enough “ Beane is asleep” references … Edited October 30, 2023 by Aussie Joe

So if they are 2-5 at the deadline they don’t think of themselves as sellers. They are thinking they need to somehow get to 8 wins to save their job. They may be inclined to buy if they had any support from ownership.

Let's hope for at least one more trade so the plural thread title "Trades" is applicable.

Low Positive
Gotta hand it to Roseman. He doesn’t hesitate to cut bait fast on FA signings.

RyanC883
if we can land a CB or DT, I'd feel better. A WR 2 would be nice, but I don't see any out there that are feasible. (correct me if I'm wrong).

Seeing that they just gave up a pick more than likely in the top 12 of the 2nd round I imagine they have to extend him. They can't miss two years in a row like this.
