Lost
NFL Officiating this year has been the worst I've ever witnessed across the entire league. I'd like to give them all a week off so I can watch a game and actually enjoy it. 1

BRH
Well the TB they were favoring in the last game wasn't "Tampa Bay." 1
Low Positive
It works in our favor if he likes to call RTP to protect star QBs.
DabillsDaBillsDaBills
I'm a ref complainer, but I'll stand by that Bucs game being the worst and most lopsided officiating against the Bills in the McD era. They were bad all night but the end of that game was really something. The refs let the Bucs hogtie Diggs on our 3rd down pass to the end zone at the end of regulation with no call. Only to follow that up in OT by calling DPI on Wallace when Brady underthrew Evans by 5 yards. Evans bear hugged Wallace so he couldn't turn around and the call goes against Wallace.
Low Positive
So which week do we get the good ref? You know, the one that's beloved by fans across the league.

chongli
Quick note: Rookie Line Judge Brian Sakowski was hit in the head last week by Arizona Cardinals LT DJ Humpries in the game at Seattle. Humphries was ejected:

Brand J
It’s funny how many were up in arms about that Jaelen Phillips RTP penalty. I can find 10 that are worse than that one. Including “hits” where the QB didn’t even get knocked to the ground.

Sometimes it's the penalties that aren't called that influence the game more. As well, of course, as when they're called. Clete Blakeman (Sunday's ref) -- his crew calls fewer penalties per game than Novak's. How'd that work out for us?

Bermuda Triangle
Trying to figure out how Diggs didn't draw a flag on 2 back-to-back plays in the 3rd quarter. He was definitely contacted >5 yards downfield (with Allen in the pocket) on the first play, and then grabbed and jostled by Davis on the next. I was fine with the call on Taron Johnson, but those two plays should have drawn flags as well. 1

How was the flag “picked up” ?????? 1

Oh, a flag was thrown, an ejection was signaled, and then....*poof* flag picked up, with no explanation. Just like on Sunday. 1
