Dunhams?

Pall Mall?

Rothman's?

Just as an afterthought, pity all those poor UK vendors who have to reprint packages to

'purveyors to His Majesty the King'

from

'Her Majesty the Queen'.

I really wish Spike Milligan was still alive for this.

My interest in the British monarchy is the same now as it was when Charles married Diana, and I watched the same amount of the coronation as I did of their wedding.

Zero.

To a very small extent, I get that some people across the pond are interested in the royal family.

But I do not understand why every TV channel except the food network has to shove this down our throats here in the U.S.

And now for something completely different.

I watched the last hour of the ceremony and the procession, on the London feed of BBC One.

I didn’t see a second of it. But my wife had it on around 6:15am so I did get to hear some of it before I cranked up the white noise machine. That fixed THAT!

You WANT to watch the infomercials that are on Sat mornings?

It helps to go there.  All the history puts things in perspective.  Westminster Abbey to be particular.  Kings that Shakespeare wrote about are laying right there in front of you.  In 2066 we'll celebrate 1000 years since the one single battle that caused us to be writing a combination of Germanic and French languages right now.  It's pretty neat when you think about it

Watch other channels.  Not seen one item on new monarch for England.

Personally I think King Ralph was best monarch I have seen.
