As it is in any stadium seating there won't be much elbow room they never seem to put that into the equation ...

What I noticed is that this wasn’t just a ceremonial test fit. If you look closely you’ll notice that they have the framework for the entire section’s seats already installed on the precast concrete risers. It’s pretty amazing considering there’s over a year left if the construction schedule.

I was looking at that and saying "they need to install 60,000 of those suckers!"  And I'm sure some are more elaborate.

It sounds like a lot but I can assure you it goes really fast. That’s why I’m amazed to see them going in so early. What the construction team is generally concerned about is breakage if they’re installed too early. It’s the same with all finish materials like glass, cabinets, etc.

Yeah, you think they would install them next year because they’ll be exposed to harsh elements this coming winter.

Do you think it’s possible they’re far ahead of schedule?

If any are damaged, they can send em back to Amazon for a replacement. I do it all the time. Just drop it off at the UPS store. Boom.

I thought the downsized seating capacity was partially attributed to having bigger, wider seats (bigger people in 2025). I suspect there’s not much leg room with steeper angles.
 For $2B I expected a little better quality.

Yes it is. Those are typical seats installed in every new stadium and the people complaining about them in this thread are ridiculous.

I think those posters were expecting wider and cushioned seats, like some of the new stadiums have in the lower level.

Sofi and Vikings and Falcons for example:

 

 

 

 

 

The upper level (cheap) seats in these other stadiums have the same seats as we are installing in our lower level (expensive) seats in our new stadium.

@Einstein yes, why don’t we compare seating in a domed stadium vs. an outdoor one…is that your argument?  Somebody correct me if I’m wrong, but I don’t think anybody puts cushioned seats in an outdoor venue unless they are protected from the elements.  The seats installed in that video are exposed seats.

 

I’m sure the covered, premium seating will be a bit different in the new building.
