Seems like you might be a touch simple so thought I would help out. You’re welcome.

Oh, she was just kidding? Riiiight...

Which lends credence to the idea that those alleged other balloons under Trump that no one saw likely were testing the US as well and left quickly when they realized it wasn't going to be tolerated.

Clown show out in full force. Whatever makes you feel better I guess.

As mentioned previously, you seem a touch simple and I am here to help. On occasion people, not just on Twitter and message boards but in real life, tend to exaggerate things for effect, be it dramatic or comic. Not every tweet and post is meant to be viewed literally. Perhaps if you view some of these things through the educational lens I have provided here, you will live a life less triggered. Godspeed.

Just a little trivia.

The F-22's used the call sign "Frank," in tribute to Frank Luke, who was a US pilot who shot down 14 German balloons during WW1, and for whom Luke Air Force Base outside Phoenix is named.

Which was a big deal then, because captive balloons carried observers with telegraphs. Telegraphs hooked to batteries of German artillery. Frank Luke was doing the lord's work for the doughboys.

The Termites Are In The Woodwork.

As it is, the government and corporate media are dropping like a hot potato any mention that the balloon we did finally shoot down may have spent three days loitering over Malmstrom AFB, which happens to house the majority of our Minuteman missiles.

Among other things. Look at all the bases and such along the flight path of the balloon. Want to place a bet that if the data is not already being shared with Moscow, it soon will be?

And let’s not forget that the balloon(s) were allegedly not picked up before they were over the Aleutian Islands. If that is true, that would indicate that multiple systems failed in their job. No one, not two, but multiple systems.

Also, note that neither was shot down right then either over ocean or in a remote area, despite the violation of American airspace and international law. Instead, they were allowed to continue on and complete their mission.

Dereliction of Duty is the politest term I can use for what has happened.

Rebekah Koffler, a former Defense Intelligence Agency officer specializing in foreign aerospace, said there is a “high probability that the Chinese government exfiltrated sensitive US data” through its spy balloon.

“This brazen intelligence operation mounted by Beijing, targeting the US homeland, almost certainly enabled the Chinese military to glean critical insights into the Biden Administration’s policy and posture towards China, and President Biden’s ‘red lines,’ when it comes to foreign aerospace assets, breaching of US sovereign airspace,” Koffler told Fox News Digital. “These insights are very useful for China in developing deterrence strategies for dissuading the United States from intervening in China’s future aggressive operations against Taiwan.”

The Pentagon said it waited to destroy the Chinese balloon over concerns the debris could harm civilians and destroy property. Weichert said there may be more at play, as Secretary of State Anthony Blinken was set to visit China on an official trip this week before it was suspended after media backlash over the balloon, leading to a public debacle that “made us look weak.”

“This was a political decision — they didn’t want to upset China before the event,” Weichert told Fox News Digital. “Biden is willing to sell out our national security to get a piece of paper with China on global warming.”

Wouldn't there have been a cheaper way to do it?  Even unarmed those would cost a bit no?

I suppose there would be a cheaper way using the gun, but that would probably result in a much longer and unpredictable drift.

In addition, F-22's fly every day, so no additional expense there, and US Navy and Air Force planes shoot a small number of non warhead equipped Sidewinders and carious other missiles every year to assure satisfactory inventory, so it's one less practice shot to do.

I wacked a drone with one during my days. Really fun. For various reasons I won't confess, the missile hit the full size drone and splashed it.

The ground operator of the drone was supposed to cut the engine to remove the heat signature as soon as the missile came off the rail, but my call was "late" so he was late, and even the non warhead AIM 9 bulls-eyed the thing.

A good day for me.

Minor edit..

By the way, the AIM 9X, which was used in both cases, does not rely on heat signature for guidance. It uses light contrast. The heat signature of a balloon question has been brought up on various web stories by authors who don't know that.

Object over Northern Canada shot down, Trudeau says

Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau ordered the downing of a high altitude object over Canadian airspace on Saturday, he said in a tweet.

“I ordered the take down of an unidentified object that violated Canadian airspace. @NORADCommand shot down the object over the Yukon. Canadian and U.S. aircraft were scrambled, and a U.S. F-22 successfully fired at the object,” Trudeau said.

Next object will be a large drone....Americas focus goes to China, maybe a major invasion of airspace by a plane or two, and Russia uses cover to use very powerful weapons against Ukraine.

Remember when Biden, Trudeau etc refused to go to Olympics and the two bros sat together, Putin was only big guy with the Chinese leaders...

Taiwan issue is coming, there is a plan....IMHO.

The plan would be take out America before moving on Taiwan.

The world being in their pockets and under their thumb and the loss of love of freedom and actual liberty at home is going to make this very ugly.

Not sure if you are serious or not, but the mutual relationship between the 2 certainly points to a major problem in the not to distant future.

I believe both have the willingness for pre-emptive strike. This is not feeling like the chess games of the 60s and 70s. IMHO

wtf is going on? Can one of the “it’s ok for our adversaries to fly balloons over the country from coast to coast” crowd weigh in here? There were several of you. Hopefully one of you will step up.

I don't know what "decommissioned" means, but there is a report of another radar hit over Lake Huron that didn't amount to much.

China relies way too much on the rest of the world to survive anything of the sort.  They would have hundreds of millions of people starve within a year without food imports, a lot of which come from the US.

Also, please, what freedoms and liberties have you lost here?

Via the government or thru the private sector with the support of the government?

Loss of freedoms doesn’t mean we’re put in labor camps.

Not yet anyway.

But you will bake that cake.

You will accept the LGBTQJRXOPA agenda in your schools and the parents can stfu

You will get vaccinated or be fired.

You don’t need an assault rifle (we don’t know what that means but you don’t need it

Do I really need to go on?
