plenzmd1
Interesting article here in The Athletic about Super Bowl ticket prices, why they have skyrocketed since the debacle in 2015. Walk in price this year expected to settle in around $5000, with and average ticket price north of $7,000. https://theathletic.com/4130065/2023/01/30/super-bowl-ticket-prices-eagles-chiefs/ And according to the article, Bills in the game would push it higher Quote This doesn’t mean matchups don’t matter, but since experts like Ryan see a floor at $5,000, the pairing is more likely to affect prices in terms of how high rather than how low. Had the Cowboys or Bills made it to the Super Bowl, it likely would have sent prices soaring. Now, as they mention, and for those without access to the site..next year game will prolly be even worse Quote Whatever amount the Super Bowl ticket price settles in at for Arizona, it is almost sure to be blown out of the water next year in Las Vegas. As arguably the entertainment capital of the country, the city is also filled with casinos that will want their allotment of tickets for high rollers. “They tend to have a decent tolerance for spending money to keep those people happy,” Ryan said. It’s why ticket prices for the Las Vegas Raiders, despite a losing record, were 50 percent higher than the NFL average. The money shelled out to get into the game in Glendale might look like a bargain next February.

DrDawkinstein
WHEN the Bills make the Super Bowl there is no place I'd rather be for the game than in Buffalo with all my family and friends. BullBuchanan
If the Bills are in the Super Bowl, I'd rather watch the game on TV than be at the game. The TV feed is a better spectator experience most of the time for me.

Logic
I long ago gave up on the idea of ever attending a Super Bowl live. Just not worth the exorbitant cost. I could take a week long tropical vacation for the same price. Instead, when the Bills go to the Super Bowl, I figure I'll fly to Buffalo and find a big watch party, so that I can be amongst fellow Bills fans, and so that when the final whistle sounds, I can take part in the party to end all parties. I expect there's at least a decent chance I'll get into a fight with a police horse or die in a rain puddle. It's gonna be lit.

At the end... The screenshot shows the next 10 predicted Super Bowl champions by AlbiesHOF with the date showing the predictions were tweeted out on December 16, 2015. However, one eagle eyed observed pointed out that this would have been impossible since AlbiesHOF's account was not created until 2018, making the 'predictions' bogus.

You couldn’t just let us have this one could you? 😂 No way I’m paying those prices to attend. Too much $, too much stress. Like others have said, only place I’m willing to travel is Buffalo because I couldn’t imagine how euphoric the city would be if/when we ever get it done.

Nextmanup
Buying a pair of tickets to the Super Bowl for $14,000 would be about the 475th best use for the money I can think of. SBs don't do it for me; they have a boring, stuffy, corporate crowd and lack fan participation, and they are often in domes....and played by teams not named Buffalo Bills. Hey, to each their own, I guess. 1

The conference championship games are a bigger pull for "actual" fans at probably a 1/10th of the cost. Super bowl is all about celebrities and businesses. Even if I had the money to blow, I would never do it.
muppy
I had my window of opportunity when the Bills played in Pasadena. There were tickets to be had for $400.00 each. We still passed. I am happy we didn't bother. Even if I were to win tickets today I'd sell them. Way too much money for a football game and sick halftime show. I'd take that money and go to Cabo for a few weeks.
