I think the prayer of thousands was certainly a benefit in saving Hamlin's life and hastening his recovery. What I don't buy into is God intervening to determine the outcome of games, the Sabres game alluded to in the article as an example. It would be the resurgence of entire city. And quantum shift in the mentality of hundreds of thousands of people. That's God territory.
