Last night he won me over completely. No fake tears, no making it any himself or his feelings. Just straight up truth and empathy. I thought ESPN should have just thrown on a re-run of some football game they had on file. I didn’t understand why they kept throwing it to the studio and asking the same questions, showing the same images, rehashing the same information. We've all seen it plenty of times. Now, CPR? That's something none of us have seen on an NFL field before, that I know of. I understand why you might think that, but I think they made the right call. Even if it was painful and awkward at times. I think staying with it was the most respect they could pay, it really put everything into perspective that the only thing that mattered was Damar. BUT, I agree with the board that based on his recent coverage, he has won me over. Ryan Clark was truly special, great commentary, perspective and opinions. Then at some point(I am not sure who the two hosts were), came on after the game was cancelled, and maybe stayed on for 30-45 min…I think.
