The MN game is non-conference, and hardly make or break at this point.  I'd guess they'd be cautious if it looks at all like something that rest could help with.

We need to take care of business against our division opponents. I'd rather have a healthy JA and a 2 or 3 seed than risk anything.

Too late. We handed Miami and the Jets those games.

I'd put heavy odds on us going 4-2 in division (as long as JA is only out short term)

I do not see the Jets or Fins sweeping us, with both games remaining Buffalo, and the Pats are the worst team of the three with two remaining against them.

Agreed.  I'd rather go into the playoffs as a low seed with a healthy Josh Allen than to go in as a higher seed with this injury lingering around,  or worse, being unavailable in the playoffs.

Miami & NY would need a miracle to beat us in Buffalo.

I'd never put anything past BB, but that team can't compete w/ the Bills this year. Their wins come pretty much only when the opposing offense is completely anemic.  They might get the 2nd game if we're resting starters, which is unlikely.

The thing that pisses me off the most in this whole thing is that Allen got hurt essentially because Dawkins was called for holding because he blocked his man too well and basically pancaked him. Sadly these get called as holding a LOT even tho they are just damn good blocks.

I think the completion to Diggs would have been overturned due to him not having his second foot down but that would have left us at 2nd and 10 instead of 1st and 20 and forced deeper drops by Allen.

Agreed if we are reasonably healthy for those games we likely curb stomp them

The fish and Jets both played the Bills close for 3+ quarters in Buffalo last year. So I disagree that they need anything close to a miracle to win in Buffalo especially since they have the 'house money' factor on their side now and can be more aggressive and take chances.

Also the Patriots just beat the same Jets team in NY handily despite their offense being very inconsistent and also somewhat a work in progress. Their defense is ridiculously good this year again if the Dolphins and Jets can beat the bills in their home fields no reason the Pats won't be able to do the same.

The Jets defense is really good, and they match up well with Buffalo. I think the Bills would win but it would be close. I agree with you on the Fins. I think the Bills win that one fairly easy. Of course, this all depends on them getting healthy.

Bills just got ass handed to them by Jets. In a game you most likely thought was going ro be a Bills blow out...

Hilarious what constitutes "ass handing" around here nowadays. Bills fans got so spoiled so quickly. Any other team dares to compete with us and keep it a close game and all of a sudden we had our asses handed to us.

Wut?  He got hurt because Queeezenberry got smoked.

Deeper drop = worse angle for Quesenberry to block.

Really its Bass' fault for missing a field goal and forcing us into a position where we had to go the length of the field to win.  Or Allen's fault for throwing horrific INTs in scoring position.

They're all taking it as proof that he's done for

Worst case scenario is he misses a game or two.  There is virtually no chance he has to have surgery or anything like that. His rookie season when he had a UCL injury he was in obvious pain immediately on the field and on the sideline when they were doing tests.  This was more like trying  to get feeling back in there or rubbing a sore muscle. Then he chucked a ball 70 yards, the longest ball thrown in the last 6 years. You aren't doing that with a serious elbow injury.  If he only missed 4 weeks with a more severe injury, you'd think there isn't much chance he misses the same amount of time with something less severe.

Is this supposed to be bad? Kyle Brandt said that he's in Europe and Allen has a packed week. Why would that worry people?

Have you ever even been to Europe!?!? Its a socialist nightmare!!

If there is no chance or very minimal chance it will cause further damage by playing then he should just do the pain killer. The season is too important and the Dolphins and Jets now are right on our backs for the division

Exactly. The babying of Tre White is getting ridiculous to

It's not good or bad, but mysterious happenings aren't exactly what anyone wants when dealing with an injury/player of this magnitude.

People are worried because reading tea leaves is all we have, because the team won't say anything about Allen's injury and his talking about him the same way they talked about White and Poyer, who have missed a ton of time.

If the team isn't to be communicative, I feel justified in drawing inferences from that.

It's not babying, it's him demonstrating to them that he is gameday ready. You don't go from not doing an activity for 11 months to back to normal immediately.  This isn't Madden, it's real life.

It's not reason to panick but come on, he was in Germany yesterday too and I'm sure Allen's schedule hasn't changed that much.

They don't want Josh doing the interview before McDermott speaks to the media tomorrow. Doesn't mean bad news is coming but thats what is going on.

Right now if I had to guess, Josh misses 1-3 games. And come January Bills are back to being Superbowl favorites. But who knows.

Some honesty would be appreciated.  Would probably the biggest episode ever and he cites "logistics"?  C'mon Kyle.  Just say Josh cancelled.

It's been a year since he sustained the injury. He has been practicing for a month and he's been out of the red non contact jersey for 2 weeks. I believe it was Fraizer who at one point last week said he was basically ready go. He did pre game warm ups and then they held him out last minute. I understand being cautious but now they are taking it to extremes

I don't get what that has to do with why Brandt can't do an interview lol

I imagine Brandt is in Europe all week for the game in Germany, so moving it really has very little to do with where Brandt is.

This, plus three hours prior, Brandt said they were on.

Right but he also said that Allen has a packed week

Yeah .. he's packing his bags for an overnight stay at the hospital after Tommy John surgery.

This is where I'm at.

If he went on today, I'd be hopeful he may say it was a minor tweak and he's hopeful to get out there on Sunday.

Reading the tea leaves, this is to allow McDermott to brief the press that he's out X amount of games and give a timeline/breakdown of what we're dealing with.

Maybe we're all way off, but Kyle Brandt and Josh Allen didn't just randomly have a scheduling conflict on a show they do every week.
