Glad to hear he is in stable condition already, hopefully he makes a speedy and full recovery. This happens everyday man. Just not often it happens to a professional athlete. This is why i avoid lots of areas in wny. Not worth taking that chance of walking across that one desperate guy that has nothing to lose. machine gun kelly
We’re there any details as to where this occurred? Unfortunately, there are certain neighborhoods you just don’t want to go at night.

machine gun kelly
Thanks Jag. To give an example, if Cook was driving a BMW in Hamburg, and was shot in a robbery, I would be surprised. Not that there is no crime in Hamburg, but a lot less likely than another area. I will say a prayer for the guy. It’s not a great way to start you’re NFL career. For the most part, Rivera comes across as a class act, so hopefully they keep him on PUP as I’m sure he’ll need a month to recover.

Another thing just like this happened in broad daylight in front of Nationals park. It’s crazy out there post said “1000 block of H Street NE.” It’s right near metro center and Penn quarter. 1 hour ago, machine gun kelly said: We’re there any details as to where this occurred? Up? Yes. But those numbers do not signal "out of control.".

This isn't the place for this discussion, but obviously crime is going to increase as more people exit pandemic-era isolation, return to work, etc. How do the numbers compare to 2018/2019? Of course there are other dynamics at play too.

Yeah, or maybe it’s the lax criminal justice system that society has now embraced. 1 hour ago, Just in Atlanta said: In major American cities, first half of 2022 compared to previous period: Residential burglaries (+6%) Nonresidential burglaries (+8%) Larcenies (+20%) Motor vehicle thefts (+15%) Aggravated assaults (+4%) Robberies (+19%) Murder (-2%) ... but up 39% overall since the pandemic/2000 summer of social unrest Source: Council on Criminal Justice Everything is a cycle, but those who are mocking people for saying things are out of control, are out of touch. Of course there are other dynamics at play too. Numbers are definitely up since the pandemic began. There's no denying that. And there's plenty of potential reasons for the rise in crime (which I won't name, but that both sides of the political spectrum like to spout as gospel) that we need to analyze the data on further before drawing any firm conclusions. I just take issue with the histrionics displayed by folks who call crime "out of control" as if we've descended into some Judge Dredd style nightmare. I suspect they live far too much through television news and social media.
