I actually am surprised they don’t run more screens in the red zone.

We're to slow.  Seriously the RB's are slow and not very shifty.  And once Breida had that awful fumble putting him in the game and giving him the ball is like playing with dynamite.

Diggs was the ONLY other offensive player who elevated his game tonight like Allen did.  It's actually remarkable how average and below average the rest of the Bills offense is.

This completely misreads what happened tonight.  The damage the Pats did to the Bills on the ground WON THE FREAKING GAME for them.  Again people ignore that in a wind game like this the Pats were able to steal possessions and field position by holding onto the ball for a couple of long drives.

Exactly. It is the confidence to know that your gameplan is a sound one for the game conditions, and the discipline to stick with it. Any other coach would've thought "I'll at least show them pass a few times to keep them honest." No. Zero passes against the wind, 3 with it (and 2 of those at the very end). No FGs or PATs attempted against the wind.

We almost stole one here because of the incredible playmaker we have in Allen, but almost doesn't count. The boring disciplined guy is ahead of us in the standings, and probably for good.

We miss John brown and his ability to scare teams with the speed downfield. It let Diggs and Bease work underneath at will. Sanders doesn’t scare anyone with his five yard routes.  We need to revamp the Oline and get some legitimate speed at wideout.

There was the the weather so this is hard to judge this game, I get the shorter routes tonight. Sanders is very fast too though and has shown it this year. Actually within a second of Brown's 40 time (from years ago) and Brown is probably not in the league right now for pretty good reason, it's not just the Bills that have passed on him. If there's more examples beyond this game I think the better question is why are the coaches using Sanders that way?

You did see the 15 yard punt?

The ball went intonyhe netting and just slid by the upright. Big players make big plays with no excuses. Bass needs to make that kick.

Remember Vinatieri making a clutch kick in a snow storm? Big-time players make big-time plays.

He was already completely leveled by Judon and got up slowly and then was launched into the tenth row on that sideline run and was holding his arm like it was dislocated.

Are you for real?

Yes I am for real. Your best player is your QB because of his running ability and ability to improvise. You take that away and the offensive is bad. Daboll didnt even try to run the ball with Allen. When Allen took off, it worked but nothing was designed. And thats why the bills lost. Only points were on a gift.

I am puzzled about the design of the offense plays.  Dabol likes to keep the receivers out side the hash marks.  Only  time them throw to the middle is on third down to Beasley.   This offense tonight was bland and easy to defend.

It really doesn’t…we had excellent field position most of the night. A ‘wind game’ where our qb was getting the ball where it needed to go and people couldn’t catch it…where Matt Breida fumbles in insanely good field position throwing away easy points. Defense tightened the screws when they had to and the pats were essentially running themselves out of the game… they certainly aren’t blameless but I guarantee bill mixes up their offensive playcalling if we did absolutely anything on offense. He essentially got to run the clock out starting in the first quarter…he likely knew it wouldn’t lead to points but he trusted his defense

Honestly how do we know we don’t lose that game by more in a dome? One qb literally could not pass in those conditions and one could. You think a more balanced pats offense would’ve improved our chances? They ran the ball up and down the field then got stuffed outside of fg range most of the game

How will the Bills stop their run if their is any chance of the Pats passing? They had trouble stopping the run when they loaded up against it.

I thought when the Diggs trade happened the Bills would have been better served to keep the picks and draft Jefferson. Diggs was great last year. But long term, Jefferson and the picks still seems like the better move. Maybe with the picks Beane could have moved up this year and grabbed an every down back like Najee Harris. Beane is exalted by Bills fans, but the moves for Diggs, Edmunds, Ford, etc. have cost the team dearly.

Stop lying. Left up to you would have gotten Golliday instead of Diggs. Only thing you mentioned about Jefferson was he should be consideration for the Bills with the 1st round pick since he ran a good 40 time.

Belichick just dared the Bills to win the game but they didn't have it in them to do it. Patriots played not to lose, Bills played not to win.

Despite looking poor at times the Bills defense only gave up 1 TD.  It was the offense that lost them the game.  Allen didn't play bad but he also didn't do quite enough to win it and he did have a couple chances on those 2 drives. I seem to notice that when the Bills take a timeout on a big play, it seems to take away their momentum and they go out and make a poor play.  Don't give the defense a chance to regroup.  The Bills running backs are so weak its pathetic.  Not the the line is giving them any lanes to run thru but these guys get taken down by simple arm tackles. The Bills simply cannot beat physical teams that run the ball.  Indy, Jax, NE, etc.

That is the dumbest tweet I’ve ever seen. Unreal.

I disagree.  On that 2nd to last drive with a first and goal at the 6, running Allen three straight times might have been a good idea. Or at least employ run/pass options. It looked like they went to straight drop back passes.

You’re pretty far gone dude.

The reason we lost the game is because the Pats lined up and ran the ball 65 times at 7-10 yards a clip because we don’t have a LB.

I still disagree lol how is that stealing a game? The pats had one td all night. We had a lot more opportunities to make plays we just blew them all.

Close game by two good teams. If I'm playing the blame game, it's certainly not Daboll. We should have scored at least 10 more points. Diggs drops a difficult pass for a TD, but it was there. Knox?!? And that missed FG attempt was fine. It was manageable and if it goes in, we only need a FG to win it.

This is on the players not executing when the opportunity presented itself. Coaches put them in position to win.

Mcdermott cost us 2 timeouts for absolutely no reason whatsoever and frazier refused to adjust once we knew mac simply wasnt going to throw the ball

I get your point, but to me the message of the game is simple. We talked all week about how Mac Jones wouldn't be able to throw in bad Buffalo weather. Belichick agreed; he didn't throw it at all. He signaled that very early and never deviated from it. We knew - particularly against the wind - that every play would be a running play.

And then they ran it for 222 yards.

We have the great playmakers, and that was almost the equalizer tonight. Almost.

It really wasn’t…our pride is hurt looking at the box score but the pats really weren’t effective on offense with scoring points. Bill trusted his defense and that our offense would shoot itself in the foot and it worked out for him

That’s what I took away from the game. Defense gave up a long TD in the 1st quart and 6 points the rest of the play. Pats only made it to the redzone 2x on 10 possessions and never had a 1st and goal. Our offense came away with 10 points on 4 redzone possessions……that’s the bigger story.
